Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been living with a sparkless burner for a couple of months and hadn’t gotten around to looking at it. Your video also explained how to open the top which would have taken a while otherwise. I popped mine open and found a damaged wire. A quick Amazon order and I’m back to normal. Thanks again and keep those videos coming.
Thank u so. I know nothing about my propane stove but now I do. In these days of covid and sky rocketing g prices knowing can save your butt. Great channel.
@@jeanclaudelaurin funny thing is that same exact burner in our stove also went out. I wonder if the routing of the wire or the frequency of use that was the culprit. We just bought the camper, so I don’t know it’s history. I’m happy to spend $25 and get it working correctly again!
Hi there, just installed my bug wire shields you had in your other video. Love all your fix it videos and glad I found your channel when you first started out. It feels like I have been everywhere you have because of UA-cam. Good common sense information every time I watch your segments. My girlfriend is from back east and especially enjoys the videos and your eastern accent. Keep up the great work and enjoying life. Tom and Irene
Hi Tom! and Irene! Thanks for your comment we appreciate it! We are happy the eastern accent is working for you. We are back in New England for the summer, so we are recharging the accent! 😂😆😆
Thank you for this video. I'm having the exact same problem except it's the front burner. Somehow I'm missing the manual for the stove (even though we bought it new), and I couldn't figure out how to get the cover off to even check the wiring. It's good to know those go bad, so I'll go ahead and order a full set. Great short how-to video. Thank you.
Thanks Ron. 😃 We did reply on the WeRmudfun channel that the storm really did nothing here to us, but areas around us got hit pretty hard. We were out exploring an old Mica mine today from the 1800's.
I have a stove like that and all three of my eyes have low flames they've haven't been really high since I purchased the camper used but I've noticed they've went way down all three so I'm thinking it's a line or something that's feeds to the stove. Any thoughts?

@RV Legal Eagle & Paws Definitely the time to sell a home from what we are hearing. It is still a seller's market, even more so than when we sold last year. Sounds like you have everything falling into place. 😀Be safe!
Thanks for the video Chuck and Cheryl. We have had issues with ours ever since we have gotten our motor home. Ours always did light but you would have to crank and crank the striker to make it go. I will have to go out in the RV tomorrow and check for this issue you showed us. By the way. We cancelled our trip to Maine for this year and changed it to next May. Todd & Denise
Check for cracks in the plastic around the wire. Also if the other 2 are good see if one of those will reach the burner that doesn't light. Switch the wire and see if that takes care of the problem, if so replace all the wires. Sorry to hear you guys had to cancel your Maine trip. We feel like we just want to skip the rest of this year and start the new year. Hopefully it will be better. Stay safe guys! 😃
Great vidieo! We need to switch out our ignition wires too. Do you know how to adjust the flame when it turns yellow for this model? We have the same stove
Thanks Mary Ann. Try these tips for the flame... YELLOW FLAME TIPS Improper gas-air mixture --------------------------------------Adjust air shutter if applicable Low gas pressure--------------------------------------------------Check gas supply Check for leaks and have the regulator checked Set pressure to 11” water column RA Ranges and Cooktops Improper orifice to burner alignment --------------------Realign burner head and orifice tube assembly Replace orifice
@@GetGonewithUS Thanks so much. I will check if it would fit my stovetop. My grills are so cheap, it's 2 part, the paint falls off with the cooking, the rubbers holding it straight deep falling off and break. I had it changed on warranty 4 times. they all the same. Yuck
Hey Guys!! As usual, great fix! I have a burner that doesn't light and was thinking of a elect. push button igniter replacement seeing as I will have to change my wires. Ok Chuck, I'm sure you waited for the grill to cool down before you grabbed it. This is a easy DIY for the mass majority since there has got to be a ton of these stoves being used. Before ours goes out it wouldn't hurt to have a set of wires on the ready. And as always, great video shots Cheryl. Is Brandi getting camera shy? I haven't seen her much lately, or maybe I just missed it. Stay safe out there.
Thanks Carl, hope all is well with you guys. Yes the grill was cool enough. LOL If you get in a pinch, electrical tape with get you through the trip, but replacing the wires is the best bet, plus they are better quality then what the stove comes with. Brandi is alive and well, she has been preforming in our adventures on our WeRmudfun channel. Her contract only allows her to be on one channel or the other. We are in contract negotiations with her agent now. LOL
@@GetGonewithUS We're doing great so far. Those agents are sure strict with their clients. Don't let her put her paw print on anything until she gets your ok.
If there is no gas going to the stove, where should I look for the problem? Just bought a rig that hasn't been used in a few years. There is no hissing sound either, which makes me think it's not a matter of simply waiting for the lines to prime. Yes, I have plenty of propane onboard.
If it doesn't light, smell or make a sound when turned on, chances are good it's not coming through. We are not experts though. You might want to have a professional take a look at it. Good Luck!
