Great as always my handsome gentlemen! For £54.05 divided into 5 fake away meals comes in at £10.80 for the two of you! That literally Can Not be beaten! Also all the food you cook looks just as good as a delivery! Ding dong! Well done!
My granny always got her herbs spices dried beans lentils etc in wing yip when i was a little girl coming from such a large irish family there was always a lot of people for dinner so it saved her a lot of money.
I wish we had a local Wing Yip in Edinburgh! I suppose I could make a note of things and see if I can get similar as we are spoilt for choice with Oriental and Asian supermarkets. Thanks for the video. Have a lovely weekend lads. x
You're mind readers. I literally only thought the other day it seems like aaagggees since. Wing Yig vlog and then what do you drop! It's been along time since I've been to Birmingham one so planning to go this weekend now. Thanks guys
Great vlog guys, definitely some big price increases there but I guess everywhere is expensive now. Jason is correct the lovely noodle pots are £1 at sainsbury's
Also that brand who do the tonkatsu (I need to find it, tonkatsu is interestingly pork but I have some of the now discontinued dopsu in). The same brand does a few Vegan things, got some yakisoba (Stir fry sauce, proper Japanese street food stuff) from them labelled Vegan too.
Lovely video as always guys. Fake Aways are great for a special treat meal once a month, usually around payday. It saves money, you get decent size portion, you know exactly what ingredients are in it (healthy or not so healthy) and they get the family around the table. Just googled my nearest Wingyip in Croydon: 45 min drive. May have a little outing over the weekend. Thank you so much x
American Jewish people often go to Chinese restaurants at Christmas time. When my mother-in-law was alive we used to go on Boxing Day to visit her and we always went to a Chinese restaurant near her house. The two vegetarian / vegan dishes on their reduced Christmas menu were very nice. My mother-in-law always had a duck dish.
Hi paul and jason , love wing yip but last week we went to farm foods and found small bottles of dark soy sauce for 19p , so we got a few and its nice , just thought would let folks know
Not seen the oat condensed milk before, I will definitely keep an eye out for that, as don't always want coconut flavour in sweets. That tofu has gone up in the shops near me, it's £1.65, still cheaper than most other supermarket tofu though.
I’ve always wanted to go to! Will have to make a visit. With the cost of living going up everyone could stand to make their own ‘fakeaways’ occasionally, whilst supporting businesses where we can
Now, good morning those vegan guys, I just want to come in this morning and say thank you 🙏 🙏 for inspiring me, I feel like to go to my local wing yip straight away however, I have noted the things I would like to try, such as the satay sticks vegan style, dumplings like you get for your fake away, and the little cans of vegetables too towards the end of your video, I think they were just over a pound but could be a nice meal with some Wholemeal rice and salad I consider, thank you so much for this vlog, might go just before meeting you both for the Birmingham grab club so I can have a mini vegan sort of festive party along with you folk, during the festive period, thank you so much for including one especially if one is alone at festive times, this gesture is truly appreciated and I feel honoured and touched to be a part of your community.😊😊
@@ThoseVeganGuys Hello, those vegan guys, Now, I planned to come, I am unsure if I would be hungry on the day, but certainly plan to have a drink maybe a nice vegan drink with the group.... 😄😄
This one was great to see. Been many years since I was shopping for the goodness that Manchester has to offer but the variety is better and better. Natures choice has such a good range, only wish I could get hold of any of it. Prices have definitely gone up but still great. Keep at it lads, hope ya both well * ps sorry I tell a lie, just looked and I can get some natures charms products but at a inflated rate.
Inspired by you, I went to my local Korean supermarket in NZ and stocked up on an amazing variety of spring rolls, dumplings, seaweed and noodle rolls, frozen tofu puffs, all either clearly market vegan or vegan by ingredient. It’s a lot of food and will last my husband and I a number of meals when made like your takeaway plate. I also bought the samyung x2 spicy, but I only add half the pack of chilli sauce as I can’t taste anything else put chilli if I add it all 😂 I like hot food but I want to taste the food too, not just the hot 😅 I go to my local Indian supermarket to buy massive bags of rice and bulk bin dried beans, lentils and amazing variety of spices. Great places to shop 💚
Samyang 2X spicy are probably out of stock. They were at both the big/medium Chinese supermarkets in Hull for a few weeks, assume stock issues (They're among the most popular Korean ones along with Nong Shim so doubt would be discontinued. Known around the World for the fire challenge too).
The little moons I think they’re so expensive because they’re a delicacy. I’ve seen a video where a woman made them and it took a while. You got rid of ya beard ☹️ it was looking great. Always love to see you guys going round looking for food! Thanks 😍😍
I just googled and I have quite a few Chinese supermarkets near my message house. Excellent.🤩 I have tried Durian fruit and it did smell gross, but didn't taste of much I thought.
They do duran fruit on the dancing bacons channel. They’re not vegan, but I love learning foods in other countries. Apparently it’s a very subtle flavour. Like lychee?!
Ooh I love a Wing Yip vlog. Really really interesting - might even venture across the peaks one day to pay a visit messen. Thank you for your ongoing fabulosity 👍👍🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈✅
ua-cam.com/video/N7TZZVt8RmU/v-deo.html For fellow slimy bean eaters, just there on the left of the crispy tiger prawns at exactly the 16 minute mark is the NATTO! These particular ones say no animal products - worth checking as often the sauce can contain fish, pretty frustrating as natto isn't an easy thing to find. I know of 3 other places to get it: the Japan centre (London), Longdan in West thurrock (Essex), and there is an oriental supermarket in Hastings, East Sussex that sometimes stocks it.

Can't believe it's been 8 months since the last Wing Yip vlog, I remember that one.
Nice selection and the prices are better than here in the US. Tonight I made Italian meatball soup and will garnish it with vegan parmesan cheese.
Sounds great!

Loved watching this , looked forward to it all day. So many great options available in the UK.

Discontinued from wing yip. They've had them in for years but not for many months. Amazon as we said shall have to be our source. We love them.

Can you please make the takeaway meal recipe? I’m a new vegan and will love to know what and how you use that products
Done many moons ago.

Oh wow!
Message house. New house, I meant.🤣
LOL
Are the Parathas stuffed with potatoes?
As I associate that with Punjabi cuisine
from North West India and Pakistan.
No John they are just plain ones, never seen the potato ones there but have seen green onion ones. x
