More than one run of f. drain pipe made intuitive sense to me, so that’s what I did, but you’re the first one to ever confirm that line of thought. Everyone else I’ve seen uses a single one and calls it a day.

A double pipe french drain will overcome a lot. If you use 2 pipes at the bottom, haul all the dirt away and use a non Woven Geo textile filter fabric it's gonna last longer and work better.

THIS is the video I was looking for. Sheet water run off going under a mobile home and pooling underneath on the far end. The open drain is perfect to run along the sides to keep the water at bay and keep it flowing towards the sewer system. Thank you.

I recently bought the armor pipe for french drainage. I take on a rediculous amount of water and my engineer said to build a french drain/tile drain along my driveway at my garage door to prevent water sitting up against the house. I bought 3 ton of 1.5 round rock for the borrito wrap. This is the 1st video ive heard you mention smaller angular stone to prevent damage to the pipe.
Have you ever ran two 4-inch armor french drain pipes across the front of a garage door and if so how do you decide the combo of stone to max water drainage while protecting pipe.
I have 3 ton of washed #57 and 3 ton of the round rock. No big trucks will cross the threshold. I got 2k worth of FDM products shipped to western NC. Im in Blue ridge mtns. Top 5 in quantity of rain in US, freeze thaw not an issue here.

Pack the area you're driving over in smaller stones so you don't damage the pipe. Large stones have less contact area on the pipe and exert more force in that smaller contact area.

Thank you! I am proud of the system I've built. I followed every rule I've heard you talk about over the past year and a half of my research. Even the 100yr rain calc. In fact, I am a data scientist so I have water Calc. spreadsheet that auto-calculates 24hr roof runoff and sheetwater volume by section of roof coming out each gutter. This was a fun but tough project.
      Thanks again. Take care.

Shouldn't you be putting socks on the tubes? I'm wondering bc I'm going to have to do this myself and I don't know if you need to put a sock on the tubes? Some people say that you need them but I see that you don't use them . Love your videos.

At 25:00, you talk about Dirt Haul off. Still interested to learn how you handle dirt after you leave the site?
    1) Pay to dispose
    2) Process it to screen for rock?
    3) Save the piles of it for future jobs (suspect not as you haul so much away)
    4) Can you describe type of dirt you haul away, what is actually useful versus not
Just seems to be a big part of your job quality, but has a lot of hidden stuff before and after the job to consider.

Rob, The residents have the ability to have that type of system where you reside. Lucky them, everyone else is going to get either 3 hole shedule piping or the big box store corragated black piping. Can't find anyone in pa (bucks county) who does this this. I'm handy but a bit out of my league for someone who works alot. Anyone you can suggest. Would like to see your product at the outdoor expo exhibits. Thx for any input.
