- Sky News Washington Correspondent Annaliese Nielsen says the crowd just went “absolutely wild” at the first public appearance of former US President Donald Trump since the assassination attempt.
“We weren’t necessarily expecting him to be here," Ms Nielsen told Sky News Australia.
“They’d been teasing all day maybe he’s coming, maybe he’s not.”
I'd rather watch Sky News Australia than US news! Keep up the good work.

It's crazy, but really nothing special. I have to look at Austria's and Switzerland's news to get a more neutral perspective of German news. I think it's unfortunately farely common that you can't get the "whole" truth by watching just your own country's news 😑.

It wasn't like this during covid. They ignored most protests and or lied about how many people turned up. It took them ages to catch on to the truth, only after it was too late. I was so disappointed.

Not sure about kind-hearted, but he is practical. He sits down with world leaders who make fun of him publicly and still negotiated trade deals. He met with the North Korean leader. He warned European leaders about NATO spending and reliance of Russia gas... despite them criticizing him. He honestly doesn't care what people think of him as long as he gets what he wants from them. China, Canada, Germany, etc. all badmouthed him and yet he nailed all of them in trade deals.

I think Sky News is really trying to expand and be a leading news company. Going to this convention in person like they are is taking things next level. They report the news honestly. Have you read any of Mises? In 1920 he published a paper showing the fundamental economic impossibility of socialism. His book Socialism is superb, should be required reading for all high school students - good luck with that one. Mises Institute is a good source of his publications.
