Your channel has become my go to. I ordered a monte...and the original 1080 speed controller. I plan on upgrading the servos but havnt decided on which ones yet. Watched your vid comparing the Castle BEC 10a vs 20a and i noticed the 20a has 2 connections into the receiver. What ports will it use on the receiver.. and will running the headlight Led kit be an issue? From what i understand it will have a pass through plug. Thanks for all u do!✌️
Awesome to hear that, the receiver has 2 ports that lay flat on top, I use these two to plug bec into Light kits works great, you have a y harness to tap into the throttle channel just to get signal for the brake lights n reverse lights and power. With the bec no dimming issues hitting switches. If you dont have a bec people need a glitch buster to keep the lights from dimming but with a beefy 20a bec you dont

Wats bro I’ve got the hw esc installed it worked good wen I tested it earlier but now I’m only getting the blinking red light with no acceleration no steering No hopping nothin just the red light blinking have you ever seen this before
Question, does the redcat stock receiver have to be programed to run at 8.4 volts ? Because I programed esc and only getting 6 volts instead of 8 . I appreciate the info. Thanks
Thanks for making this vid after my comment on FB. I think this ESC will be sufficient for my builds after watching this.
Good review, we need to explore as many options as possible for these builds.
