Just got mine two weeks ago. 2024 model yr with all the upgrades. It was the last one on the lot in my area. Love supercruise but not using it much yet. Lots of potholes in NJ this time of yr and not sure it will avoid them. I jad a lot of damaged tires with my CT4 sport before the V. Thank God gor tire insurance. Nice review
I have a 2023 CT5-V with Platinum trim and RWD and I love it. 0-60 is easy to dust off in under 5 seconds (my best so far was 4.5s). These are great cars.
I recently bought mine after waiting 10 months from Order to Delivery. I considered the KIA Stinger GT as my alternative choice until I found my Dealership was asking $10,000 USD over Sticker! Afterwards the CT5-V was a no brainer. My car is Rift Metallic (Ceramic White) & loaded with absolutely no regrets.
Stinger GTs are sweet, I drove one when they first came out. No way is it worth mark up though. Good decision on waiting for your V, these are incredible cars! 😎
Here in california, the sacramento area, the ct5-Vs are about $10k+ over msrp, about $15k right now. So it is the opposite here. Blakwing is even worse, out the door, after all the dealer bs, they are about $30k over msrp, going for about $129k. It's absolutely crazy and disgusting what the dealerships are doing right now cause it's not just cadillac, its almost all the dealers.
@AutomotiveAnonymous208 I had fully loaded 2020 CT6 Premium Luxury Edition that was brand new when I bought it in January 2020. Unfortunately, it was stolen early Sunday morning. It only had 28,000 miles, and I only had 3 payments left on my lease. It hasn't been located since they disabled OnStar. I'm pissed!! Now I'm having to look at the smaller CT5 since I'm don't want to pay a lot for an Escalade that has room for my 6'5" height.
..in America. They've been producing & selling very well in China all along. Now I fear the all new 2025 XT3 won't make it to the States. Why, I cannot guess? Competition within the Brand? That's nonsense. GM sells them under every other division over here. Why does Caddy get the opposition end of the stick again?
You really need to see this car in person. It is absolutely gorgeous. Expect a refresh for the 2025 model year with a new infotainment screen. Also, good luck finding one for under $65K and there are not many on dealership lots. The V6 kicks ass and the torque will throw you back in your seat. The lease on my current vehicle is up in 2 years. Absolutely hoping for a 2025 model.
Loooooooovvvvvvvvvvveeeee the car you’re okay the color looked like blue then black . 2025 is what I am waiting for. Thank you for the walk through I am more convinced this will be my retirement car
Thanks, that means so much! 😊 I’m really having a lot of fun getting to do this and showing others my experience with all these cool cars. It’s also exciting to slowly learn better editing techniques and trying to make the reviews better while showing what I would personally want to see in a video. I LOVE my chosen profession of physical therapy, but I probably wouldn’t have started this channel as a hobby/escape if the field hadn’t changed and it hadn’t become very stressful for many reasons these past few years. It’s unreal to watch people’s positive responses and the channel grow how it has in less than a years time. I’m very exciting to keep finding new ways to balance my career with my biggest hobby! Thanks for regularly watching and being a uplifting voice! 🙂
My dad use to buy my mom a new Cadillac every 2-3 years. The older one would become her 2nd car in case the newer one was being serviced. The 1974 was a Sedan De’Ville with a 472Big block V8. She kept the 74 around for my sister and I to go “Joy Riding”, (though she didn’t know that at the time as I was too young to have a drivers license. Her 1977 had a 425 V8, also a Sedan De‘Ville. My sister and I would race the other large cars of that era like the Oldsmobile 88s or 98s, the LTDs, Impala, etc. That 472 would blow the doors off everything we raced. It still go 16mpg with the cruise set on 100mph. ( on long trips my dad would set the cruise on 100). Six months before mom sold the 74, she bought new tires for it. When she sold it, the rear tires were almost bald and the front tires were still new. What can I say, but it was a fun car. My parents divorced in 78, so she kept the 77 for about 6 years and bought a new 280ZX. Thanks for letting me walk down memory lane. Great review Bro, Personally for the price of a Caddy, I’d buy a Lexus.
I sure hope it’s not only 330ho out of a twin turbo V6, especially when the old naturally aspirated 3.6 could make that much horsepower in the Camaro and old ATS type of Cadillacs.
Love this car. Wish they would have put the new infotainment that they put in their suvs. That would make a huge difference and would get me to buy this car.
I am really loving the looks of this thing! To get all the features I want it would be closer to $65 grand but that's not unreasonable for today's market. I need to get out and drive one. I agree the door cards need work to allow larger water bottles to fit, but that's okay by me.
For sure! These are seriously an incredible sports sedan. Definitely go test drive one!! The fact that a same chassis ZL1 can whoop a mid engine C8 on a track in an amazing testament to the engineering and design of this platform (I know ZL1 is more powerful, but come on, it’s a muscle car platform vs. budget exotic). And with the sedan practicality it’s that much better and easy to justify, lol. Rant over. 😛
I have a 2020 version of this car n the same Shadow Metallic color. I came withe optional "20 n Whiper Beige seats! Love it. Yes I wish it had 100 more hp but I'm Love it anyway❤❤
That dark grey color actually looks nice! Normally I wouldnt even consider a dark grey, either going for silver or for black, not the 'in between' color.
Cadillac must enjoy the success of this car! The new 2024 BMW 5M means business! Hybrid twin turbo V8! An 830 hp STORMTOPPER! GM won't go all out and add the additional hybrid power. The Twin Turbo C8 Z06, can't get here fast enuff!
I apologize I don’t remember. I believe this was a 2022/23 model year, so I’m unsure the Cadillac still offers this color. I had tried to style this video more towards purchasing a sports sedan in 2024. Thanks for watching! 🙂
I’m sorry to throw you off with it’s color, it’s a 2022. I put an asterisk after the year in the title with an explanation in the description. I took out this one because not much has changed in 2023 and 2024 for the V series and this one has a couple thousand miles so the engine was broken in for my 0-60 test. Thanks for watching! 🙂
I’m sorry I can’t remember. It’s common these days for gas doors to electronically lock when the vehicle is locked. But I can’t remember how this Caddy was set up. 😅
I believe this 3.0TT only comes as a 10 speed auto in either RWD or AWD. But the crazy supercharged 6.2 Blackwing can and should be had in a 6 speed manual! 😎

That’s stock?
@@chris2320 Yes. Bone stock.

Congratulations on your new ride. Why was the Kia Stinger GT your alternative and how does it drive when compared to your Caddy?
@@maxtroy8511 The Stinger GT was comparable in size, performance & pricing before the Dealership added $10,000 over Sticker.

I wish Cadillac didn't stop production of the CT6
Absolutely! I passed up driving one a few months ago and haven’t even seen one since, lol. 😂

Oh man, I’m sorry to hear it was stolen. The CT5 is definitely a bit smaller, but hopefully one that you can still enjoy!

That’s for sure, these have awesome proportions and the TT is more than enough power for a daily driven sedan. 🙂
the 25 model new front is a downgrade, looks weriod, but the interior is a good change
Are there pictures of the '25 yet? @@jackd232
Outstanding review. I am seriously considering this vehicle and this is one of the better videos I've seen on this car.
It’s an awesome sedan, absolutely test drive one if you haven’t already! Thanks for watching and thinking so, that means a lot! 🙂
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 I did drive the CT5 v6 TT (which is still amazing), but my dealer didn't have the -V in stock. Hoping to drive one this week!

Personally for the price of a Caddy, I’d buy a Lexus.
That was a great memory, thanks for sharing some of your family’s experiences with me and anyone else who reads. I bet those were fun days, lol. 🙂
For the price of the ct5, you get a v6 camry.......eh.... I mean a "lexus" es350. The Lexus is not even a remotely comparable car.
@@rocketdude60 It’s her money and a Toyota / Lexus will outlast a Overpriced Chevy anytime
Sold. Getting a CT5-V with Super Cruise! Thanks for the review!
That’s gonna be sweet! Thanks for watching. 🙂

I sure hope it’s not only 330ho out of a twin turbo V6, especially when the old naturally aspirated 3.6 could make that much horsepower in the Camaro and old ATS type of Cadillacs.
I bought my 2024 CT5v today. I’m n love. It’s n a beautiful Midnight Steel.

Love this car. Wish they would have put the new infotainment that they put in their suvs. That would make a huge difference and would get me to buy this car.
I think that's happening on the 2025 (2024.5?) Refresh
Super Cruise is what pulls me to this car
Just bought a 2021 wave metallic blue! It’s been great

Beautiful car and nice review.

Yeah, for sure! And it looked even better in person than my camera could portray. 🙂
After 34 years? What’s wrong with you? It’s depressing.
they discontinued this Shadow Metallic color in 2022 unfortunately, the car shown has to be a used model not a 2024
you mentioned the doorsill plate isn't V logo because this car has no lighting package. it's the base model

Nice!! These cars are super sweet!
It's a shame that they put a Camaro infotainment screen in it... 2025 gets a big upgrade.
2024? What the heck color is that? Doesn’t look like anything available in ‘24. Looks like discontinued on the 5v shadow metallic.

No WAY to LOCK 🔒 the gas cap !?!
I’m sorry I can’t remember. It’s common these days for gas doors to electronically lock when the vehicle is locked. But I can’t remember how this Caddy was set up. 😅
Why is the fuel filler on the right side? Very inconvient to walk around the vehicle to refuel.
Living in NJ I never think about that. One of the last states where you don't pump yourself
CTS was the best sedan but Cadillac preferred to bring a ct5 which is a downgrade
I like the CT5 alot but i have to agree that the CTS and the CT6 was the best sedans.
Way to much money.
