Good one. Another way is to use a heavy duty drawer slide across the front and awning mounted to it and it just slides out into place.

where did you get the quick release bracket from ( the one that goes from the camper storage to the swing out)

I can’t move closer because it would hang in front of the door to the shower pump and also I would be able to walk up to the rooftop tent
