I remember being a kid and having one of my first crushes on Sue. I was obviously barking up the wrong tree so to speak.😅 I didn't think about it at the time but now I obviously know that she isn't into.... Eight year olds.😅 ba dum tssh(see what I did there) That Madonna/Frozen parody was one of the most 'this sounds absolutely nothing like the song it is parodying' parodies ever, ha. Still funny though...well fun anyway. Mel and Sue have always been awesome. The talented and likeable version of Ant and Dec.
Used to watch this. I still love Men Behaving Badly but a show like that wouldn't be made now. In my head 0:38 they are that age forever. Its still odd seeing them older. I'm now older than the character Gary was in the show, 12 years older!!!! and nowhere near the money his character had :o(
Absolutely true she was meant to appear. She was over in the UK at that point anyway - she did 'Frozen' in a world exclusive performance for the National Lottery on BBC which you can still find on here. Also a pre-fame Dermot O'Leary was a runner on Light Lunch at the time, and his book 'Soundtrack To My Life' confirms that they'd been plugging this special for the best part of two weeks when she pulled out at the last moment!
I love Mel and Sue (on!y reason I watched this episode), but the combination of Gwyneth Paltry and Martin Clueless (one of the most vile humans in the British Isles) ruined it for me.

Wrong. It's very similar.
Never seen Sue look so girly!!
I can see you've come in your shorts...Delicious innuendo!
yeh Gwyneth before she went gloopy
I love Mel and Sue but man this is cringe
This show is nuts, I love it.
Hey. Can you please upload the episode 14/05/1997. Where Dec and Dec's mum appears on the show. Ant and Dec, Please, :(.
02:58 oh poor Sue...

What actually was the deal with this? Was Madonna really ever meant to appear? Why didn't she? Or was it a joke?

Light Lunch is where I first saw Peter Kay.
6:20 Spoiler for Seven if you've never seen it.
Does any one have the episode where the chef Anton Escalera is on? I will be very grateful:)
More like a pilot for Late Lunch!
