That was Shaun Cassidy! He was my first crush! That photo was about 1976. I was 12 and Shaun was about 18. He was a bubble gum rock singer. His father was a famous actor, and his mother is Shirley Jones, known for Oklahoma! The Music Man, and the Partridge Family. I loved the house. It housed so many children! I found it sad that such neat beds and a crib full of toys were left behind. The house seemed poorly built; however, the decor was consistent throughout of about 1986, except the stairwell carpet, which was a holdover from the 70’s. A mother/wife put a lot of effort into the curtains and matching bedspreads. The stove is worth restoration. That porch would have been pleasant. I could have fixed it up so nicely if it hadn’t been left to deteriorate to that degree.
The dolls one was cabbage patch one was strawberry shortcake. I have a signed picture of strawberry shortcake it,was my mom's. I really couldn't see the other two dry well but there was a Smurf in the drawer lol
One of the dolls was a Cabbage Patch Kid. Worth a lot of money 💰 today. The house reminds me of a single old grandma who had her grandchildren come spend the night often.
Nice explore! Its a shame that nobody takes care these places and they are left to rot. I’m glad you do these types of homes and not the ones that someone just moved out of a week ago.
Yep, no one there since the late 80s. A budget built house by its looks with most everything inside decades older than the 80s. The microwave oven looked like one of the first. Thanks Brandon! 🤠👍 Notes: 17:41 All the teenie bopper girls swooned over Shawn Cassidy back in the day, I think he's still a he and is still with us. I'd Google but I don't give a damn. (sorry girls) 18:37 I sure his name is Ernie sittin on the crib's corner. I don't see Elmo.
That was a great explore! I feel it was the grandparents house & one or both passed or moved to a nursing home & the grown kids didn't want what was left there. Very inviting little old folks house. Thanks for taking us with.
Fantastic exploration and wonderful house. I love it when there are many things to explore, on the other hand it is sad when so much has been left behind. I always find it interesting when there are still neatly made beds, it always has a special atmosphere. It is nice to imagine how the resident still made these beds, the children ran through the house and played with the things. I love to imagine how it looked at the time when it was still inhabited. Now Ernie is the keeper of the house. 😉 Fortunately, it doesn't have a basement, because the floor in one place already looked extreme. Take care, stay safe and have a fabulous week Brandon and all ❤
What a great explore. Some awesome bedroom furniture left behind. I love the blue and white quilts. One of my favorite colors together and the color of the can opener is one of my favorite colors. I think the name of the folks in the crib is Holly hobby. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Brandon, I love your videos. You always make them so interesting to watch.i remember the old tractors from when our son was little. That's when they started making them cheap plastic. When I was young many moons ago, they were made of metal.
I'm shocked the house is still standing but haveing its problems with rot now as it's been abandoned in late 80s with all there belongings still in if it was not In the middle of nowhere it would of been knocked down buy now good find again keep exploreing mate
My grandparents had some of those old folding lawn chairs. cool old stove. I remember those old microwaves. That can opener was made to last and love the color of it. That machine also looks an old canister vac on the floor that's falling in. Someone several years ago gave me a sport coat that had that color and pattern of the carpet on the stairs lol. Its small cottage house. Cool old baby bed. The t-shirt of Shaun Cassidy is making me feel old hahaha. Its been years since I seen a saw like that. Cool explore; I may miss one more premier- definitely miss them. Keep Orange Crushing It.
Cabbage patch doll with the red colored hair on the dresser. They maybe worth money now. I have an original raggedy Ann which I have had since I was 12.Great video!!
Mr Potato Head is the potato in the crib...there were eyes, glasses, eyebrows, moustaches, etc. you could put onto the head. Strawberry Patch kid doll in the crib.
we can really appreciate looking back over all the years gone by and to find old time capsules of abandoned places like these we can take things forgranted but cheerish what memories of things we valued growing up specially back into the 60s and 70s seeing abandoned like this is nothing but amazing absaloutly loved this video brandon abandoned hope to see more time casules of these old places are really the best you can ever see.
I'm here watching now, just like I promised I would do on Facebook. I try to watch when I can, but I'm also a busy guy, so I don't always have the time to watch everything you do. Thank you for working hard to put this great content out.
11:31 - that's a Kenmore vacuum. probably one of the most self serviceable ones. My parents had theirs from 1978 until about 2010-15ish. only the body was original.
very cool explore thanks. that kitchen stove looked to be quite old too my rough guess would be 1960s possibly 1950's anyway old those people had a large family great stuff left behind
I thought I saw a chemical toilet there besides the modern one. They had a tank below ground with a chemical to keep down the smell and a vent pipe to carry away odors. I’ve seen them in a lot of country schools. Those two beds upstairs look like they wouldn’t be so bad to sleep in yet. Cool house!
What you thought was raggedy Ann is Strawberry shortcake and I see a cabbage patch doll on the dresser. Some of these dolls could be worth a little money to a collector.
awesome ! an old wash board omg i wore my fingers out on one as a kid doing my clothes for school haha yes im that old lol that t shirt was shawn cassidy lol i had a black one when i was about 7 lol id feel right at home there i think lol thank you ! i really like this place and i agree with you i love places like this more than empty power on just moved out of places haha, these have more character and feeling
The dols on the dresser were strawberry shortcake, cabage patch and a smurf in the drawer, there were quite a few strawberry shortcake in the crib. Those are worh something now so is the cabbage patch.im not sure about the others except the smurfs lol
HE SAID WALKER!!!! So cute...that was definitely left in the 80s....wow.... where did they go? Thats so creepy...great find bro...love ur sence of humor 😂
I’m guessing this was a summer home and the family moved away! Probably too far to visit often. Left to rot.. we have a few like this out around lake country .. families moved to Europe overseas
4:26, that’s an out house room, you can still see the toilet paper holder, but clearly they have indoor plumbing. 6:53, a classic walkie-talkie, I think there was another one at the very beginning of the video. 11:47, I think that’s a trap door going to the crawlspace. Four bedrooms, two real bathrooms and an indoor outhouse, in a house this size, seems a bit strange.
Brandon, I had an idea, since all of the clothes we saw were a woman’s and kids toys and clothes, I imagined this, Mother got in trouble with the law was picked up put in jail , went to trail much later and put in a woman’s prison therefore never coming back to the house to claim all of their stuff!! And of course when that happens the children are put into foster care and they do not go to their homes and get their belongings therefore they would all remain all behind untouched. Just an idea!! Thanks for sharing.
Weird that theirs no furnace vents, no baseboard heaters or any kind of wood stove anywhere inside that entire house even though it’s said to be way up north were it’s cold all the time, how do you keep four kids and possibly a baby warm in the winter without any kind of heat source what so ever? But you got electricity and running water.
Hello. You dont know what happened to them or no newspaper story ? I wonder why the city hasn't done anything about this house as if they have gone than taxes aren't being paid . Than they usually auction the house ??? Great job you are doing with these adventures !
I've always said it, even in my videos. I had whe. Explorers set things up for pictures! 😡 We are supposed to leave everything how it is and leave in footprints. I had a Shaun Cassidy lunch box when I was in first grade! LOL! And I definitely had the geese in my house in probably 1989-1990ish.
Mine too!!!!
Is this in Canada? I saw St Catharines on that metal piece. My Mom grew up there
I was crazy about David Cassidy.
The dolls one was cabbage patch one was strawberry shortcake. I have a signed picture of strawberry shortcake it,was my mom's. I really couldn't see the other two dry well but there was a Smurf in the drawer lol
Why is it when I see little stuffed animals everywhere it makes me a little sad??! ❤ It makes me even MORE curious about the family that lives there!
Wow wow xo. Us up to 70 years f, age can relate to lots here. ❤

Very first toy at the door looked like the hot wheels garage I played with 40 years ago.

Great house exploring Brandon. I’m still amazed that I’m sitting in 70 degree weather and your exploring with snow on the ground.

The portrait on T-shirt... Shaun Cassidy? ("a teenage heartthrob of the second half of the '70s" 😍)
Yep it is haha
I'm shocked the house is still standing but haveing its problems with rot now as it's been abandoned in late 80s with all there belongings still in if it was not In the middle of nowhere it would of been knocked down buy now good find again keep exploreing mate
Strawberry short cake doll, cabbage patch doll, & the t-shirt is Shaun Cassidy. Big icon back in the 70's & 80's.

@@BrandonAbandoned Am I having a good time? It’s a godfather paradox 😜😂 I may read Carl Jung’s black books for a mental cleanup 😂
Love the 1970's t-shirt with Shaun Cassidy on it! One of "The Hardy Boys", and quite the heart throb back then.
You missed the cool antique washboard at the beginning! Cool video!
The picture of the young guy in the upstairs baby's room was Shaun Cassidy. Awesome singer.

the red headed doll is a cabbage patch, shirt was definitely Shawn Cassidy. Regular rag doll not a raggedy ann.
Ahhh Shawn Cassidy! Nice explore. Wonder what happened?
Hi Brandon 🙂I'm waiting
What you said was Raggedy Ann was not raggedy Ann it is Holly Hobbie
I thought it was Strawberry Shortcake 😊
One was Srrawberry Shortcake and one was Holley Hobby and there was a Raggedy Andy doll as well as the Ernie doll or puppet .
Looks like a whole family disappeared in the middle of just living there lives... It's disturbing...
The dols on the dresser were strawberry shortcake, cabage patch and a smurf in the drawer, there were quite a few strawberry shortcake in the crib. Those are worh something now so is the cabbage patch.im not sure about the others except the smurfs lol

70s carpet not 80’s I would say
Another good one Brandon 😮
Strange how folks just get up and leave everything behind. It's kind of strange, what were they so in a hurry to get out?
Brandon, I had an idea, since all of the clothes we saw were a woman’s and kids toys and clothes, I imagined this, Mother got in trouble with the law was picked up put in jail , went to trail much later and put in a woman’s prison therefore never coming back to the house to claim all of their stuff!! i have sad feeling about this house x
I think those dolls with the flowery clothes were holly hobby dolls
The joists go from one side of the floor to the other 16 to 18 inchs apart
I saw 2 strawberry shortcake dolls.
Paper machete potato 🥔 😂 that was a Mr. potato head!
Milk paint is a Milk based paint it is a nontoxic paint
I don't have anything bad to say about people who take things from these homes, at least the items are rescued.
