I fell in love with cs in October 2020 and tried dashing diva in January 2021 for the ease of buying them at Walmart and I don't hate them but I don't love them either....they are cheaper and pretty, but they are thick and sticky and catch in my hair and chipped and peeled , when I was doing truck freight at my job...cs lasts me over 2 weeks and I usually only replace them when they grow out alot so I started selling them this past week
I prefer Dashing Diva. They last well over 2 weeks on my nails. I don’t have a problem with the sizes. My nail beds aren’t big. I prefer them over Color Street. I can get 3 uses out of each pack as opposed to Color Street where I can only get one, since they dry out once you open the packet. Mine don’t lift at all and I get my hands wet all the time at work. And they don’t chip like Color Street does.
With the spares from Color Street you just put them in a ziplock bag, squeeze the air out and freeze them. Then just pull them out and let them get to room temp and you're good to go. More than one use depending on the length of your nails.
I have seen many color Street videos and they tell you to put the extras back and sell it with a flat iron. I'm definitely going to check both products out I already have three packs of Dashing Divas, just haven't used them yet.. color Street to me is much more expensive for my pockets but I think I would love both of them just the same
I just took my first set of these off a few days ago, mine lasted for about 3 weeks! And protected my nails from breakage. Of course they looked a bit funky with the growth by the cuticle. I've been really pleased with them. It felt like they got stronger adhesion after a few days. I'm about to try ColorStreet, so we'll see how that goes!
Yours lasted over 3 weeks wow... I have 3 packets of DD haven't tried yet. Was worried it would come off while washing hair or kneading pizza dough or such stuff
@Wendi Lee - Give Dashing Diva another try... my first time I tried them it was awful.. I peeled them off within 2 hours. I swore never again.... then I did try again.. and loved them! Make sure your nails are very clean..no oils, make sure you clean the nails with alcohol. When you file the edges off, do it in a gentle downward motion, it will help seal the edges. After they set for a while, put a clear coat over your nails, especially the tips. Would love to see you do another video giving them another try. I used to sell Color Street and I can't keep them on for more then a few days without them peeling off no matter how well I cleaned my nails etc.
Thank you for this feedback, it sounds like people have mixed reviews! I love the ease of CS, but as an ER nurse, they break down after 2 12 hour shifts for me. I can only keep them on total 3-5 days. If I find these out I may have to try!!
@@ShawnaRN Dashing Diva can be found at WalMart, Walgreens, Target. You may also like Lily and Fox 🦊 or Rarity. Rarity quality is between CS and Lily 🦊. I started selling them a few months back.
@@ShawnaRN agreed. After 2-3 days of wearing Color Street, most of my nails had large cracks going through them. I did not expose them to water for about 4 hours after application so it wasn’t that. And by day 5-6 ALL my nails had the cracks. This was my experience all 3 times I used Color Street so although the DD are thicker, I’m going to try them to see if I don’t get the cracking problem. 🤞
These last about 2 weeks for me, I love them. I tried Color Street twice, following all the application instructions and tips from the seller I got them from, and both times had chips within a day. I know people rave about them but I wasn't impressed, especially for the price.
I love the diva nail strips! I’m finding them to be more durable. I will say you cannot swivel the sides off with your thumb nails like you can the colorstreets. Having said that the divas have amazing designs.
I just tried dashing diva because I liked the price of them and thought they were so pretty. I use color street and usually do my nails late at night so I can fall asleep and let them set without any interference. When I did that with the dashing diva nails, the next day I changed into leggings and the gel nails pushed back and I was so sad. I wanted to like them because it’s half the price of color street nails and looks so polished! But I like color streets staying power more. Also, I had a hard time trying to get good sizing for the dashing diva nails. I like the look of dashing diva, but wish it stayed on like color street.
Anybody who deals with color Street just straight-up always give dashing diva extremely bad review. every video I have ever seen them do be bad.. why not give both okay reviews one is nail polish and one is gel they will never be the same. They also don't even read the whole instructions from beginning to the end with dashing diva I'll be trying both and imma have my own opinion.
The 32 and 27 piece Dashing Diva are really good, but definitely requires some minor adjustments in application compared to CS. I love ALL types of wraps and depending on the type I use, application varies slightly. I say give them another shot following the instructions the other former stylist suggested. I also used to sell CS and prefer DD for their durability and for the gel look.
I have always used dashing diva, but lately the quality of the strips seems to be different. They keep lifting on me. My friend sells color street, so I am giving them a try this week. My dashing diva sets often lasted 10 days before the little imperfections bothered me so much that I would remove them, so we will see if these will last longer.
They also chip within a day on me and when I asked my seller about that was I told that I should double layer them or use the clear top coat strips or a liquid top coat on them. Which makes them very expensive if you have to use two sets, especially when the product is marketed as a base, color, and top coat in one. The Dashing Diva ones last at least 2 weeks on me and I don't have to do any kind of top coat on them.
You’re not supposed to put the accent on top of the solid color nail wraps. Also it’s best to put them on before bed so they can cure over night. Also you should file the strips really short to your nails & continue to smooth them out at the tips.
I loved the color of these, but they did not hold up very well. They’re probably good to use in a pinch while waiting on your next order from ColorStreet.
I loved the colors and shine on these. But their sizes didn't work for me and my tips were so sticky!! I peeled them off the first day. They were not for me. It was a bummer.
@@dharathak No, the only problem I have found with them is that they sometimes lift at the fingertips. I just apply a little clear nail polish and it acts like glue and makes it stay down. The set I have on now is going on 3 weeks!
I mean for $8 a set that’s $32 for 4 sets and you said you can only get one application from the package. With CS buy 4 get 1 you pay $33-39 and get at least 2 manis per package.
I love the designs that the Dashing Diva has but they tend to get dirt under the ends too quick for me. They lift a little right there at the ends so it's noticeably a bit dingy in that area after like 4 days. There's another brand that Is probably more similar to color street (I haven't tried color Street yet but I plan to), it's coco something in Walmart. Those last me a long time but the designs aren't as nice as dashing diva.
Incoco nail polish strips are sold at Walmart, and are literally manufactured by the same company as Color Street. Supposedly since Color Street is doing so well, they're supposed to be discontinuing the Incoco line in stores, but they're still in my Walmart! They are exactly the same quality, application and wear for me.
You do not need to layer the nails for the accent. Use the accent directly on the nail that way you're not wasting strips and it looks fantastic. Even if they are clear!
Thank you and welcome!! I try to post weekly, but sometimes it doesn't happen. I'm trying to be more consistent with my posting! What kind of videos to you enjoy watching the most?
U shouldn't get wet/ Lotion for 1hr after....did u try that? 1 try and you give up,how unfair, could have been the applicator. Cat hair all over them, could that have been a problem. I haven't tried color street, but never heard anything good about them. Nurse here that washes hands over 30x/ day and DD holds up x 2 weeks,no problem.
I hate color street. So hard to remove and they are huge! I prefer dashing diva. They last 3 weeks and are great quality. You didn’t file them down right.
Let us know if you try them again. They weren't filed correctly so that's why you felt it and now they come with a 2 sided file that have different purposes.
Yes and she applied 2 nail strips onto the nail. And she also didn't push her cuticles back. So maybe that's why.... I prep my nails like normal before I apply the strips on. Another tip is to buff, file, and wash your hands thoroughly and use alcohol wipes. Then apply a base coat since they're gel strips.
I tried Dashing Diva again...months later! Check out that video too! ua-cam.com/video/rELGM5-t7_o/v-deo.html

I'm going to give Dashing Diva another shot! I just bought a set the other day..stay tuned for that video! :)

I bought them at TJ Maxx for $4.99!!

What gel top coat do you use on your Color Street strips? I need it in my life too!
It’s from Kiss! I think I got it at Dollar Tree 🥰
They have them a five below. I tried them and took them off the next day. I can’t get the to tear off like on the videos I’ve seen.
I like how you did the accent nails!
Cute kitty! Love the fluffy tail 😍
why didn't you do a gel top coat over the Dashing Diva nails like you do on the colorstreet? I don't think you gave these a fair review.
Unfortunately I don't think it had anything to do with the top coat. These nails were just too thick for me, I didn't care for the way they felt :(
I tried them again! And I was pleasantly surprised :) ua-cam.com/video/rELGM5-t7_o/v-deo.html
