- Alyn Ainsworth and his orchestra take us back to the days of variety in this full Cut & Thrust version of the theme music to Live from Her Majesty’s.
In the 80s, variety was in full swing on UK TV. ITV ran a long and successful "Live From..." entertainment show, broadcast live from a London theatre on Sunday nights.
The series ran from 1983-1988. This remix is taken from the 1984 series - Live From Her Majesty's, produced by LWT, and the main theme tune is performed by Alyn Ainsworth and his orchestra.
The famous London Weekend Television (LWT) ident jingle is also included in the mix, from composer Harry Rabinowitz.
No copyright infringement intended. This is a tribute remix born out of my love for the show and the childhood memories. Copyright belongs to LWT/Alyn Ainsworth/Harry Rabinowitz.

I remember this TV Show hosted by Jimmy Tarbuck. I remember Donna Summer's microphone failing & she carried on like the pro she was. Alway's loved the Intro Theme, one of those tunes that got you excited coz you knew what was coming. You've brought this wonderful tune back to life with this awesome version. Congrats .. Job Well Done.
I keep coming back to this! Love it. Loved both themes too. The LWT ident (which is very sorely missed) and the 'Live From' theme - two of my favourite sounds of my childhood 😊

@@CutThrust Hi, love the remix, I've often wondered if the original masters of this theme is stored somewhere as it's too good not to be recorded from the master tapes for inclusion onto the next TV themes CD.
@@pepez5263 I had to use a low quality version (UA-cam) of the theme music to create this. I would have loved to get my hands on the masters but, alas, they don't seem to be available.

@@pepez5263 it was played live in mono, i have done some research on it and its virtually zero chance a tip top stereo master exists anywhere
