I’m getting ready to do a rump roast…1st cook in my smart pro xl foodi. I’m very happy to come across your channel! I like how you tweaked the recipe from the prime rib one that came with the unit!!! In that 450 for 25 minutes and reduce temp to 250 after that!!! I always did that when I had a reliable oven… my current apartment one not so much, that’s the reason for my purchase ❤
I'm very happy with the oven-just not bacon-lol. Took forever for bacon-but broiling it. makes it quicker but not as fast as the Foodi or Grill. Thanks Dan!
That looks delicious! I’ll need to get my fresh herbs from the store. You would think, living in central Florida, I’d be growing them! Thank you for the video! Yum!
Lisa, girl that roast looks fantastic. I’m so glad you’re loving your new Ninja toy. I would need to figure out where to put it. Thank you for the demonstration ❤️❤️
Lisa, that roast beef beef looks picture - perfect & you made brownies as well...yum!!! I plan to make pork tenderloins tomorrow. Any suggestions on doing them on the Ninja Foodi Grill? Thx☺👍
Hi Daily Comfort, You can either Grill them HI for about 20 minutes or air crisp/fry 375F for about the same time. I use a thermometer so I don't over cook them-I pull them at 140F. and it will continue to cook up. to or past 145F-which is safe for US pork. Thanks!
I really like the MEATER-thermometer-only had it not work once but it could have been me and it will lose connection occasionally but reconnects quickly. Thanks Timothy! Would be cool if Ninja came out with a thermometer that worked with an app!
Lisa, I just got my oven today, I love Ninja products. I am cooking a roast also, mine is 4 lbs. I am using my wireless Meater probe. I think the cook is for two items at the same time. I trust my wireless meater probe to give me the results that I need. Oh, I also added to your marinade 1 tablespoon of worcestershire sauce. Your roast looks great, funnny how you dropped some of the herbs on you.....lol
Congrats Roland! So far I am loving this new oven. Worcestershire sauce. made your roast even better. Gonna miss my herbs-winter is coming. May have to start an indoor herb garden :). Thanks Roland!
@@pressurecrisp You have the "Meater" probe, so you don't really need the probe, plus you saved 20 bucks !! (you could buy 20 'Buck-a-Bag-Biscuits, or 20 Buck-a-Box-Brownies with your savings !!!)
Yes, you are right. The Model # DT251 is listed but it is not released for sale... I called Ninja yesterday and was told that it was the DT251 that had a Smart Thermometer probe... Cannot WAIT!!!
Hi Cattitude, yes. they have new appliances. coming out every August-so many! I don't have the IP Vortex. but it would work in the Foodi. Thanks Cattitude!
OH my goodness Lisa! you don't disappoint do you, that looked absolutely awesome cooked to perfection in fact I just need to get my hands on one now!! Can I make a suggestion as your number one fan?
@@pressurecrisp Maybe Lisa when you lock the camera off on the oven and you don't cut to another shot you could add a transition to show that time has passed for the cooking time, maybe a transition like the clock swiping round - just a thought pop-it!
I WANT MY NINJA PRO OVEN..... so badddd!!! Need to see if someone else has it in stock, because the pre-order is taking too long! As usual, great video., thank you :)
Lisa, another reviewer indicated that the air flow in this oven prevents the food from splattering on the walls of the oven and the glass door. Have you observed anything like this? On something else, your talking to the meat was very sentimental. Tenderizing.
Hi 7heRedBaaron, Hmm..I didn't. see that. comment-I'll look. for it. It may just do that. I have cooked bacon in this 5-6 times and. the splattering is minimal-also the splatter screen doesn't get as greasy as the grill or foodi. I cooked bacon 4 times in row-just 4 slices at a time j(ust seeing what is the best/fastest way to cook bacon) and I didn't wipe. it between uses and it ws minimal. The heating elements/bulbs do. have a little grease on them-it turns black and is. impossible to. remove. Made homemade fries last night and some of the avacaado oil. dripped on the lower elements/bulbs and I tried to clean it and it wouldn't come off. But the sides top and bottom clean up nicely. I'm trying to use it everyday to see if I get any build. up but so far. just on the heating elements/bulbs. Grease doe s get on the window nut is easy to clean. Tenderizing-lol.
It can be a little tough however for the inexpensive price its a tasty cut. You can slice it thin for sandwiches or hot open face sandwiches. You could do a prime rib-that is very tender. Thanks Stephanie!
Amazon. But it comes in and out of stock at the $279 price. I have seen it for $579 when the $279 is out of stock!!! Lolol!!! I like that for $44.99 you can get a 4 year warranty... I know, they say they're a rip-off but they have saved me at least 6 times at last count!!!
"The Last Honest Influencer" youtuber should watch your channel and reviews on ninja dt251, you had shown a lot of ways to use this oven, in his videos he said, its only good for air frying fries and chicken wings and he mentioned baking a pizza in ninja dt251 leaves a factory oil taste. He claims that the picture of the roasted chicken displayed on the box is not true implying you cannot roast chicken in this oven. he also said buy one and you will get disappointed.
I'm having an issue keeping it clean-I have used Dawn power wash and tried to clean it after every. cook to no. avail. So I did pick up Magic erasers-going to. give them a try today. But a viewer suggested to get a steamer which I'm looking into today-my oven is getting really dirty with cooked on grease. Thanks Michael!
Roast looks great! I am loving this oven more and more! Thanks!❤️❤️
