From one pilgrim to another, no need to divulge the deepest inner workings. Your joy and passion for these journeys shine through in so many other ways.

Efrén, as far as people wanting you to share more of your inner journey, well I say they are blind. You share beautifully your love and meaning of your walking through your amazing cinematography and music. I can feel what you are feeling. This is the culmination of your art in the subject matter that moves you and your heart. Truth brother. Keep conveying!!!

This is just amazing and a miracle to the relic of St James. Efren thank you! This series is really special and I am so moved by it all. I really pray that God and Blessed Mother bless you is every way and also financially.
These pilgrimages are so important for everyone to do where ever they are at in their beliefs. From not believing to believing. We are all equally welcomed and wanted.
    Thanks again! Just gorgeous.

I’d say don’t feel compelled to share the wonders of the inner journey. That is the beauty of the walks. The private journey we take in our minds! It is ours alone.

I love the minutiae you cover. The trees, the path, the flowers, the birds (even their song) the snails, the lizards, the multiple types of sheep/cows & more. This all gives breadth your videos as compared to a platform for your inner journey. I am sure it is interesting but it is yours and not appropriate here.

Sorry Efren, I missed out a few weeks, I was hiking on che mounts Iblei in Sicily, needed to hire a guide for it as, the signes are not indicated properly.
Well, this video is fantastic, Luca and Olga are helpful and so I got to know something new. In november I shall walk the Lucca/Siena trail on the Francigena..but as I can see from your videos there are very few people walking in this period. Well buen camino. Cheers from Roma

Thr francigena has more people walking than the via di Francesco.

It is obvious that you really like this Via so far. Looks fantastic. A real difference to many of the crowded caminos.

Hi Efrén, this is Gijs, who in the video you refer to as the “German” that did the double stage.
I just stumbled upon your videos of the Via di Francesco, and want to say a heartfelt thank you for putting in the effort in making these! They bring back lots of memories of a wonderful time, and convey the beauty and overall feel of these magical surroundings very well. I have very fond memories of my time on the Via di Francesco, as well as of the communal dinner we had with Luca and the others in Consuma.
I wish you safe travels wherever you currently are, and perhaps our paths will cross again one day!

@@Walk_with_Efren Yes, I made it to Assisi! It was quite a walk, sometimes quite hot and long, but well worth it. I do however understand your reasons for not continuing past La Verna. It is definitely a pilgrimage that allows for a lot of “alone-time” and solitary reflection.
Also, I think La Verna is a good place to break up the Via in order to save the remainder for later. Starting the second day after La Verna, the Via changes in character a bit: It becomes less of a walk through enchanted forests, and more of a cultural experience passing through towns (and with that, unfortunately, more walking on (the side of) tarmac roads…). The Towns along the way (Sansepolcro, Città di Castello, and Gubbio) make up for it though! I would say that my highlight of the entire Via was the small monastery called “Eremo di Montecasale” above Sansepolcro. So if you do find yourself doing the remainder of the Via sometime in the future, make sure you pass by that place. it’s on the actual route of the Via, so you can’t really miss it ;)
Arriving in Assisi, I had a bit of an ambivalent feeling. On the one side, it was great to arrive and to be “close” to Saint Francis in the crypt of the Basilika. I am only moderately religious, but after 10 days on the Via di Francesco and with so many references to Saint Francis sprinkled along the way, you get in the “Saint Francis-state-of-mind”, and being there in that crypt becomes a big deal. On the other side, Assisi is a tourist hot-spot with corresponding crowds. And that’s ok as such, but after walking almost 200kms without too many people around you, it was a bit of a culture shock…haha ;)

Thank you so much Efrén, you show us so much; all senses come on the order! Keep your inner journey for yourself! The minutia is exactly what I love about your vlogs and the Flora en Fauna together with the Drone footage gives a fantastic oversight of your Camino! ¡Buen Camino y Salud! 👣🙏☘️👍😎
