@@romechode3972 could be but I live in an apartment complex right near the ocean, but really it's like time forgot this little sliver of Pacifica, rent cheap for Bay Area, I was paying more in Union City. it's walkable as hell with little shops only, biggest store is a Safeway one exit up. but the best part is the people, everyone so chill, I am not discriminated as a latino, great great place, close to surf spots. great hiking and biking by the ocean : )

Those that risk their lives in the surf should understand that they do not deserve to have others risk their lives trying to save them, should something go wrong. Pay your money for the ride and take your chances, but don't put others at risk or cost taxpayers a penny trying to save the daredevils that go out in the water. If the surfers can afford a last minute ticket from around the globe to Mavericks, they should be willing to put up a bond to cover the Coast Guard, EMT, and other costs for a rescue if/when the volunteer rescuers cannot help them.
Coast guard isn't there. The surfers hire the rescue jetskis. I live on the coastside. 99% of the coast guard rescues 8n area are from stupid tourists getting washed of rocks, not watching the waves on the beach etc.
Surfing is a dream of mine.. I’ve always wanted to learn how to do it. It looks so awesome yet peaceful with just you and the wave..
How old are you? You need to start young. And be very physically fit.
