Hey! I love your videos, and really appreciate the leek “tutorial.” I think I’m going to try to grow some in my garden. You are so articulate and beautiful. Keep the great content coming! 🙂
I am such an egg fanatic, that I must try those yummy eggs with the feta. I have never used leeks or Za-atar. Both will be a new experience for me. I recently went to visit my son and he took me to a golf course for breakfast. We had amazing barbacoa eggs benedict with a poblano hollandaise sauce!!!!! It was out of this world, and something I would have never thought of!
I love hearing this Liane! Please do tell - do I have your name right (?) I would feel awful if not so 💞. Great restaurants do this for us and I love that we can do it for ourselves too! Expanding food horizons are one of the easiest ways to ignite our imaginations because it uses all of our senses! I'd love to hear how it goes. Leeks actually make this dish billowy and slightly sweet. xo
@@lisaemeterio I just love when you take the time to reply. Yes , my name is Liane Abeyta ... thanks for asking. Also on that trip I had lobster tacos!!!! I could see you making something like that!
Two great recipes, but the egg dish looks so delicious. You just gave me some ideas for Christmas gifts. Preserved lemons in a jar and and interesting cook book, Ottolenghi Simple. Thank you.
Lisa, Thank you so much for sharing these fresh and easy breakfast recipes, dear KS! I struggle with coming up with new ideas for breakfast/brunch and these are a perfect solution to my early morning dilemma! I am especially excited about the egg dish with leek and spinach - it seems like the perfect hearty breakfast or brunch for weekend guests. The cottage cheese and pineapple is perfect for me! So excited to give it a try this weekend. I love peaches! On aseparate note: I LOVE your dishes -ALL of them! KS, you have exquisite taste...and watching your channel is the best of what I love - beauty, home, family, wellness...and wholeness! BTW: I, too, am a leftie...I am not surprised. 😊 Apologies for being slow to reply - my mother has dementia and lives down the street. I am grateful she can be so close, but there is much that needs to be done - I know you can relate, dear KS. Thank you once again for bringing light, love, and beauty from your home to mine. 🏡💕🏡
Oh Marla, you are so darling. Thank you for all of your sharing and encouragement. We do have so much in common, and I’m delighted my channel resonates with you. The “channel” has been prayed over for a very long time for this very reason. We all have situations in our lives to navigate - and connection and encouragement is critical for navigating well. I so empathize with you regarding your mom, if there’s any particular way I can offer support let me know. I loved experiencing my moms Presence when she could no longer understand much - and it’s a blessing I keep in my heart. Every situation is different. Just take care of yourself. When I moved my parents close to me I felt guilty all the time because I felt could never do enough. I don’t think there in enough and so we trust God with the whole thing and do our part. Bless you today and know all is well 💖🙏🏻😘🩷
My husband and I do the yogurt with fruit and granola one day and then eggs and toast the next. I love the Purely Elizabeth granola but they got so expensive I started making my own last year. Thanks for sharing the leek dish. I love leeks and that recipe you shared with us looked great. I may try that. Thank you Lisa!💕
Thank you Lisa! Lemon preserves! Ive never heard of that. I usually juice and freeze lemons from our California garden for recipes. BTW: have you ever made savory waffles? I combine eggs, cheese & spices and cook 4 minutes in waffle machine.
Two great ideas, thank you! No doubt you have an abundance of lemons 🍋 and put them to good use. The preserved lemons are pickled, so they have a fresh and unique flavor. I’ve never made savory waffles but of course, they’ve got to be crunchy and scrumptiously delicious! What herbs and spices do you use?
Hello from a fellow lefty, I knew there was a reason I liked you so much! During summer I make something similar with yogurt, fruit and granola, it's one of our favorites. Thank you for sharing something savory, I been looking for a non sweet option, I'll make it with tofu! Thanks so much ❤
💕 Indeed DeAnna! We creative souls share the joy of being in our right brains - and we’re also deep thinkers 🤔 🧐 , open and curious! Tofu is a fabulous idea! (Of course it is 😜.) I’m curious if you’d use soft or firm tofu? It’ll be an absolute marriage with the veggie base. 🥰🩷
Wow yummy and tasty mouth 👄 watering and unique and outstanding recipe 😋 👌 best wishes for you ❤ 😋 God bless you 👌 ❤ all the best 😋 😊 you are so beautiful and cute 😍 😋

Hey! It’s a pleasure to have you here, thank you! I would love to hear how you plant leeks in your garden - please keep me in the loop. 💝
Looks yummy and tasty 😋
Yummy! It all looked so good.

You’re son sounds lovely 🥰!
Try the Good Culture brand of cottage cheese. You’ll never go back to anything else
I believe you and will look for it.👌🏼. Once we began using Good Culture sour cream it’s the only one I will purchase. Thank you for the hot tip!

That would be a gorgeous gift! Especially for those who love to cook and try new things 😉 😆.

@@lisaemeterio I would use extra firm tofu for this type of dish , the soft tofu is better for pudding or vegan quiche. 🙂
Thank you!
