I am 50 and I am still growing muscles. 10 x 10 sets, progressive load, consistent workout, proper form, focus on tension, committment, discipline, concentration, effort, rep and set to fatigue, lots of protein, bcaa, creatine, HMB, DAA, L-Arg, pre-workout formula, and intermittent fast, ostarin and cardarin. That's it.
Make sure to get bloodwork to check your liver enzymes when taking all thos supplements. That stuff is not FDA regulated or tested so it may have fillers or contaminants.

Hey im 67+,yrs old , the best Gym , i work for a moving company for more then 47,yrs it was getting paid for going to the gym, two Man's moving a grand piano like nothing, im still strong at 67,

I agree so much. Dips and pull ups (weighted or not) are the meat and potatoes for the upper body

This is a "push" workout. The back happens on the "pull" day. Legs on another. All together, it's a push, pull, legs split.

I would do bent over rows with dumbbells as the last exercise instead of the one that he recommends which is the plank personally.
How much does your genetic capacity to gain muscle play into this? I have done every conceivable workout, supplements, protein, etc. etc, etc. Yet have very modest gains in size to show for it

@@JEspo83 that's what I thought too. I had to have my right shoulder operated on to repair 4 rotator cuff tears and torn bicep tendon. They had to cut the bicep tendon loose and reattach it to the left side of my arm. With the bicept attached on the side I lost a lot strength in the palms up position. Have some pain in my arm and shoulder from the muscle being out of alignment. Hoping my body will compensate for this and maybe I will be pain free or have less pain in another year or so.
