Ok på så vis, tyckte att det såg ut som led, jo precis dom håller ju bra mycket längre, man ser ju uppe i bergtäkten att deras baklysen är trasiga ofta.

Japp, samma form som orginal men LED. Dem släpptes i samband med Swecons L60G PCP projekt. Den maskinen hade såna lampor.
Sen dess är det många som har bytt ut, dels är det ju bättre hållbarhet än på glöd och samtidigt även snyggt.

Jo det är ju så, det röjs nattetid så det är svårt. Men beror också lite på. Kommer det så pass mängd att det behöver röjas innan kan det bli dagtid.

Looks like an agile setup for the area being worked although I think I've had R4 or R5 tires on and chained up for extra traction.
+SgtDrDeath It depends on where you are here and the department's SOP's. I'd say they're reserved for the initial clearing and whether there's a lot of ice underneath. In general, afterwards the chains come off. I know when studded tires for passenger vehicles/light trucks first came out there was a rush to make studded equipment tires but I think most highway dept's soon decided that chains which could be installed/removed as conditions dictated beat studded tires for cost effectiveness. In my state as in some others in addition to abrasives and calcium chloride, liquid beet juice is sprayed on bridges, intersections, etc. before storms which reduces the need for calcium chloride somewhat(and the adverse effects on auto bodies). Beet juice is also more eco-friendly.
+SgtDrDeath Have to say I'm not aware of that type of blade being used around us(northern Indiana) but I like it.

why are they not using a motor grader for this kind of work??

Of course a grader is better at this, but it is not his district, that´s why they use the wheel loader.
