Bilbo (Freeman) lives a simple life with his fellow hobbits in the shire until the wizard Gandalf (McKellen) arrives and convinces him to join a group of dwarves on a quest to reclaim the kingdom of Erebor. The journey takes him on a path through treacherous lands swarming with orcs, goblins, and other dangers, not the least of which is an encounter with Gollum (Serkis) and a simple gold ring that is tied to the fate of Middle Earth ways he cannot even fathom.
Dwarfs, they maybe short, but they make badass warriors.

Now tell me, what is better? Actors wailing on real actors in front of props, or actors beating up the air, while standing in front of a green screen because nothing is real but them? What is more immersive? CGI is an enhancer of scenes, it doesnt make the scene, unless you do an animation movie.
Its people like you who fuck up the entertainment industry. The mindless drones that get entertained by shit from Jersey Shore, to Katy Perry to sub-par bullshit like this or The Walking Dead since season 5 and willingly pay for it, even defend it.
