There is like a shocking amount of graphic violence occasionally, maybe not intestine falling out, but I'm shocked how much blood you can generate in Halo multi-player
I'd say Halo CE and Halo 2 were fairly graphic, especially the latter, with the amount of blood that can be splattered around but yes, some of the kills were pretty brutal. Not that I'm complaining though.
One of the biggest plot failures of this season is that they don’t effectively impart that the Covenant are well on their way to annihilating humanity.
They probably expect fans of th3 series to fill in the blanks but that's just lazy. Just because we know what's gonna go down doesn't mean you shouldn't enlighten the viewers who don't know Halo.

I’ve never played any of the Halo games (the closest I’ve ever got to the franchise was with Red VS Blue) but even i can’t get over how terribly written this show was (I will admit the cinematography looking gorgeous though)
I especially like the part where the same guns that the Inny's were using to seemingly no effect (eg: the minigun) suddenly do what they're supposed to and shred the Elites when Chief uses it 🤦🏻♂️🙄 *He's* incredibly strong sure, that doesn't just automatically make the bullets stronger.
Shields mean the elites don't take chip damage. With Chief he shot them long enough to strip the shields. The Innies were never on target long enough. At least it seems that way to me.
Absolutely agree with the editing bit. The Carnage Counts format and your editing does make it look like a show worth watching, that delivers on what fans wanted and to some extent were promised. Above everything else that irks me about the show is that in certain aspects, the attention to detail *IS* there. With the exception of the unfinished props, the physical props department was on point. The armours look great, the Warthogs looks great. As shown in a pre-release bts video, the minigun from episode one is labeled with the identification of the CMA, the UNSC’s predecessors to mark its age, an amazing little detail even some of the deepest lore and book fans would be forgiven for missing. While the CG is FAR from good and maybe not even “par”, there are moments that allowed for insight into Halo’s world we haven’t seen before. For instance, we have a true on screen representation of a Needler supercombine as well as the brutal reality of what would happen when Elites swing around swords of pure energy. Beneath the rot of preachy, cliché-laded storytelling; non-sensical character motivations and decisions and random oversimplifications of parts of the lore, there is a darker more mature Halo story that could exist down to the tiniest detail. Despite how hard the showrunners tried to bury that. So i have to hope against hope that the people running the show have seen our complaints and concerns and will be working to fix them for season 2

Fun fact about firearms. You don't need to close the distance when you have a clear shot! In fact, walking directly towards someone, depending on the weapon, can make getting a clear shot even harder.
Especially when that someone is a giant alien with armor that is clearly stopping the bullets and has a sword that you just seen can easily cut through solid steel walls and people.

Also, Kiki Wolfkill and the other producers from 343 said that the show isn’t set in the same timeline as the games so the two could exist on their own. That one arbiter in that scene really sucked at being an arbiter, because he easily got killed, unlike the arbiter or many others before him They actually had a much longer fight with the master chief, or with other Spartans.

Because I feel like the Innies at the beginning should've killed at least a few Elites. It wasn't even like they were missing a bunch either they were nailing their shots. Man this show was a let down, everything besides the opening slaughter is just terrible. The whole master cheeks "love" story never should have been introduced. Hopefully we can add another kill and make it 294 with this series death
To be fair the deaths and injuries in the books and novels are very brutal and violent compared to the game. Because in the game you get hit with a plasma gun your shields go down and you just fall over and die. In the books you if you get shot by plasma weapons your face gets melted, burned or explode.
They could have at least used harnesses for the elites that were actually in the games. They had Honor Guard elites, they should have just thrown the other variants in there from Halo 2.

I've only seen the scenes from this on here and a couple of other times. Many things wrong with the show already at first glance but one obvious one. I like how the year is in the 26th century and the rebel guys are using guns like the KRISS vector which was made on the 2000's

I would accredit Infinite for killing the franchise. Plenty of games have bad adaption and the series continues, but I know Halo Infinite has killed any desire I have to ever play Halo again.

The CGI and action scenes were actually pretty good and they look like Halo cutscenes. The writing is terrible for sure though thus the action and carnage are the only redeemable parts.

I'm still waiting for a fallout show to come out, but at least this show is ok, the violence reminds me of saving private Ryan in my opinion is a 10/10, the action is just like the Halo games and i never expected Halo to have a show. I rate this show a 7/10, I feel like there isn't any enough main characters from the Halo games

Now I’ve never played Halo but I can certainly say this show sucked, the writing and cgi was horrendous, I’m not sure if this show was “game accurate” but if it gb be as it did it wrong
it was not game accurate either, this show is just terrible in every way
They never played the game, they only read books as a reference, even that they execute terribly.
I played a decent amount of Infinite and Combat Evolved, and from what I've seen of the show, it has almost nothing to do *with* Halo.

The CGI and action scenes were actually pretty good and they look like Halo cutscenes. The writing is terrible for sure though thus the action and carnage are the only redeemable parts.
They should've just called this the Kwon show. Would've made it hurt less, ha ha

You guys need to do the second season at some point because HOLY SHIT…they did NOT NEED TO HAVE THAT MANY FIGHT SCENES FILMED AS A ONER!!!!!!! Basically EVERY EPISODE had at least one scene that was filmed in a single cut and every DAMN TIME I was having a giant nerdgasm xD
