It’s truly hard to look back on it all. We went from the fun. Hedonism. Debauchery of the 80s metal scene and attitude to the gloom and doom. Depression and despair of the 90s grunge era. And it seemed to happen overnight. I remember one day in late 91 being in the gym and hearing SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT and thinking “what the fuck”. And truly from that day things changed. It was over. Strange how life changes. But I feel so lucky to have been born in 1965 and had my teens and early twenties in the 80s metal scene. Long live those days
I've been looking for this song since since I first heard it, 30 years ago.. Iam high as fuck on NUKE! Black Thunder n Blue Velvet are my favorite flavors!..Red Ram Rod is good too.. Been hooked since 91' At 10 years old.. "Can't shoot a cop can ya fucker"..
kick ass song i remember this video plus robocop 2 was a great film. noticed they cemsored sam kinisons part in this video but its on the babylon a.d. album.
Saludos..!!
in that scene...if you notice...all the video arcade game machines are all Data East branded...the same company who released the RoboCop video arcade...but ive looked relentlessly for a RoboCop game machine in that scene,..time and time again..and i never seen any. ...darn.
actually all the video, both music video and the film was all shot in 1989. yes, the movie was released in june 1990...but like all movies...even today, the footage is always from the previous year of when the movie is actually released due to post-production, editing, and marketing, etc, etc, etc.
Babylon Rocks!!! Ron Freschi is a real guitar hero, and his guitar is one of the greatest in the end of the 80's!!! I love this band, reminds me wen I was a nightmare teen!!!
Did anybody else find it weird that Robocop 2 took place just a year after the original, and in that space of time American culture somehow made a jump from the 80's to the 90's?
'cold blooded murder for twenty & change, the very next day the news paper read ANGRY & YOUNG UNDER THE GUN The KID GOES wild!!!!great song writers, melody makers& performerz ,GOLDEN UPLOAD FULL respect.CHEERZZZ!!
the best thing about 80's hard rock was thrash metal solely because it spat in the mascara -clad eye of cock rock bands and clones alike such as these.. it's just so 80's.
for the damnest longest time...i always thought RoboCop said "taking over, creeps"...it wasnt until the advent of subtitled dvds that I learned what he really says (smh!!!!)
Both robocop 1&2 are good to me, third was alright but watched the first 2 alot as a kid had this song burned in my memory from it. 3 would have been slightly better if peter wellwr was in it but could use a better script....

Fuck GnR's!
Bought this album when it first came out over 20 years ago and still spin it quite often. Great band.

Glad to see this music is being kept alive by the glam metal bands of the 2020's.

I agree
Yep. Fuck grunge.

Thanks!!!
@Fretslayer2003 The video is of 1990 ( of the movie )1989 is the year of the song :D
Action Rock collection, green sidemaker (pirate) I love.

the best thing about 80's hard rock was thrash metal solely because it spat in the mascara -clad eye of cock rock bands and clones alike such as these.. it's just so 80's.
Ahhh!! No sam Kinneson...!! Still love this song!!!
At first, I thought this was guns n roses! Still a kick-ass song!
Viceo clip reminds me exactly of Guns N Roses - You could be mine
Great band and song anyway :-) !
Happy 30th Robo 2!

"Where is Caaaaain!"
@Beholder505 Yeah i hear ya bro...like every song! I like Nothing Sacred a lot too.....in 89 i loved these guys and XYZ the most

i didn't know that was sam kinison. it sounded like him, but i wasn't sure if it was the real sam
Awesome. Babylon AD rule. Steve
You're a rotten cop! *Throws Officer Duffy aside*
the chorus to this song reminds me a bit of Twisted Sister, is it just me on that one???
Hob rules!!!
That movie came out in 1990, not 89.
for the damnest longest time...i always thought RoboCop said "taking over, creeps"...it wasnt until the advent of subtitled dvds that I learned what he really says (smh!!!!)
Does anyone have the 7" single version, robomix?
the drummer looks like shawn michaels
Both robocop 1&2 are good to me, third was alright but watched the first 2 alot as a kid had this song burned in my memory from it. 3 would have been slightly better if peter wellwr was in it but could use a better script....
Chaos
Robocop 2 fucking RULES!!! Way better than any actual fantasy film.
badass song full of energie electrifying pure rock
Robocop m8 ftw :P ^^
RoboCop was an asshole in this video, Hob was just chilling out there enjoying the music, and Robocop interrupts the show and arrest him for no reason
I have certain similarity between this video and the one Guns N´Roses "You Could Be Minre"(Terminator 2).
Robocop: "Isn't this a school day?"
*Bitchin 80s thrash metal*
I'd love to see a movie where Robocop and Judge Dredd team up!
fucking billy .... bad assss
