I love the small moments in this like when she trips, when she swiped on her phone but doesn’t turn, and the door slamming in the dark.also luz holding a snake is just great. Theirs just so many small things that makes it stand out and I love it. Love the use of colors for the spells at the end.

I think you nailed it by not focusing exclusively on the romance aspects of it and letting it be about Luz while still beautifully honoring the romantic lyrics. I’ve always loved the concept of Luz actually knowing that Amity has a crush on her and she likes her back but is petrified of commitment and confused about all these new feelings so she just acts like she’s oblivious!
This Is like the original ordinary toh animatic
I'm super curious as to what Luz is gonna decide in the end. After everything she's already been through, and I'm sure all the crazy crap she's going to go through, I don't see how she could possibly go back to Earth and be happy with such a normal life, especially knowing that all that magic and stuff is out there. Plus, Amity 😂. But yeah, it'll be interesting to see what she decides in the end, since they've already set up her planning on getting back somehow.
Also, this is just a super fantastic animatic!! Absolutely loved it and everything was so smooth and well drawn!

That went for a far more epic imagining of the song then alot of the other animatics. This does feel like the kinda scene you would see in a show versus being and obviously a piece of fannwork. Very nice.
