- It's so easy to cook golden syrup for making Mooncake. It tastes sweet and slightly sour with hints of lemon, and will be ready to use after 3 days. I'm using an induction cooker to cook the syrup, gas stove, halogen cooker, etc. can be used as well. The cooking time might vary depending on how to cook it. Let's start!
Ingredients 材料:
400 g sugar 糖

How long can the syrup be stored? Will it turn bad if not used after few weeks, few months? Does it have to be stored in the fridge?
No need store in the fridge. Normally, I will finish it within 3 years. The color become darker with strong lemon aroma if you keep it for 1 year.
