I think we naturally gravitate to what looks best on us…you DEFINITELY have the warm with your freckles and golden flecks in your eyes…I think you were doing the right thing all along…great taste! Beautiful look! ❤️
Oh thank you! I agree.... I've always liked both cool and warm shades but not the super DEEP ones. LOL! So you are right... we gravitate towards to what we like!! xoxo
Yay!!! So happy to see you are back and I love this look!!! All of these products work so well together and a nice surprise with the compact foundation. When I see a "matte" foundation I usually run but this is light and dewy looking on your skin!! Thank you for sharing this and sending love and hugs!!
I have missed you!!! I hpe all is going well. I am really loving this Face Palette. Very unique formula and looks so lovely on the skin. I am sending big love and hugs your way. I am around for another three weeks before we take off... so you may get sick of me! LOL!
Hi Abby! So nice to see your video! I know you have been busy with multiple business ventures in Blissfully Fed and I’m excited for you - and Rome is a such a great destination. I vacationed last year in Paris and Florence; especially loved Florence. It’s funny that you spent 20 years as a redhead. You also look great as a blonde! My hair turned from light brown to white with yellow highlights when I entered my fifties and I leave the color alone since I still get lots of compliments. I think same applies to your skin - it’s exceptional- no matter what makeup you choose. Dewy skin is your fountain of youth - neutral, cool or warm toned - you can rock it all and look just beautiful! ❤️
Woo hoo! You are the absolute best Maureen! We are so excited and I love FLORENCE too! That was my absolute favorite. We are trying a few new places this time-- Palermo and Milan. That is so awesome about your natural hair transition!!! I adore you. Thank you for your kind words. xoxo
Omg Abby I totally resonate with your explanation of the cool/warm scenario 😃 Years ago I had my colours done in a group situation & totally disagreed with my colour assessment. The woman said I was warm but I look amazing in dark navy & black and have been told this by so many people. I am the same foundation colours as you and have hazel eyes but my eyes are more tan/green which are warm colours. I have pink tones in my complexion so am cool skin colouring but warm eye colour. I can wear army green but yellow based green turns me yellow. Thank you for your chat about this & clearing it up for me ❤
YAY! I am SO glad that this makes sense to you too, I know that we don't have to follow ALL the rules of color but it nice to have a guideline and so yep- this just made so much sense! I am so glad it resonated with you! You DO YOU!!! xoxo
This lighter warm color palette looks great on you Abby!! I also love that new Victoria Beckham Martini gloss!! I loved hearing about your new color analysis. So interesting 😊
Thank you Deb! You know that I love going down these rabbit holes! I did find the OVERTONE /UNDERTONE interesting and I think most peoples skin have more than one color. I just was a little hung up on the ashy hair.. it truly does not look great on me... so thought this idea of NEUTRAL to slight warm with cool overones made a lot of sense. I love the MARTINI GLOSS! It is so good! Hope you are doing well. xoxo
You look stunning! Such an awesome look. I really love that blush on you 😍 The Tom Ford Moonlight as your bronzer was the perfect finishing touch - it looked incredible. I really need to get around to trying brown mascara - I have always found black mascara and eyeliner a bit to heavy on me. I love Chanel Blue Marine eyeliner (recommended by you) and I need to buy some brown mascara to try it. I agree it brought out the green in your eyes more 😍
Thank you!! I love this TF Moodlight!! I sort of forgot about it... sad but true. AND I was skeptical of trying brown mascara but I actually think that tip works, Give it a try and let me know what you think. xoxo
Abby, its a beautiful so natural look i cant do cream complexion products. I use too much actives, so my skin is more sensitive and peeling 😂. I agree our colors arent so simple. It can be in between. But you know, i really love lately contrasting colors . When everything cohesive, adjusted thats nice and cute, but by using cooler tones on warm tones complexion, it created contrast and čreates edge, i love that. As long as everything adjusted from Fashion, accessories to makeup. It can create more interesting looks😜 Have a blessed day🙏❤️
Thank you so much!! and yep I love the contrast of warm and cool together especially on the eyes!! the key is that we have fun and it is creative!! I hope you have a blessed day too! xoxo
You’re my skin twin, and I always color my hair ashy blonde and prefer cooler tones. If in doubt, I always gravitate towards a cool tone foundation instead of neutral.
Your hair looks gorgeous in the little picture that I can see! AND yes, I think I gravitate towards the cooler foundations since they give my skin more LIFE! Thank you for sharing. Always fun to learn new things. xoxo
Wow, dear Abby, you look super beautiful!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩Loved the video, the explanation, everything, thank you!!! I just LOVE the Victoria Beckham eyeliners, they are so easy! Ordered that WA Coquette blush at Space NK in a sale, is on the way! That fragrance from Kilian: love it! Really something more relaxed and something else from them! Wishing you a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘
Hi Abby. This look is beautiful on u, honestly u normally always look so pretty with ur lovely glowing skin. And u wear so many different brands really well! This is the kind of look I really enjoy, enhancing ur features and looking like u didn’t try too hard. Just beautiful. 😍
Abby, with your green’ish hazel eyes you are definitely a soft Fall. However you really can pull off some summer colors too. Hair color makes a huge difference. I have very dark almost black hair but during Covid let the grey come in so now I’m salt and pepper. Before the grey I would color to a softer brown and then add warm highlights. My makeup matched that hair palette. Now, my hair is back to black and grey so my color palette has changed completely which has been difficult to figure out. I’ve always been a cool winter and now even more with my salt and pepper hair. Fun fun fun playing with color and makeup.
I totally agree! They always say it doesn't matter what your hair color is when doing analysis but I think that is false. Just like you - when my hair color changes - so does my makeup! It is so much fun playing with color and makeup. Keep me posted on what you figure out. I am thinking that the Salt and Pepper would be so striking with minimal soft makeup and a bold lip!! xoxo
Abby, love your soft Autumn look! I love WA products & Sweed products. I’m still waiting for my powder it does take some time to receive since it travels internationally. I’ve never tried any Fara Homidi products but I like how the face compact looks on you. Very natural concealer or foundation with a highlighter. Great for travel! Will be great for your trip to Italy! 😊❤️
Thank you so much!! And yes- I love the new WA blush and SWEED is amazing and worth the wait but we are all used to instant gratification. LOL! THe Fara Homidi palette is a true love. Such a unique formula! I hope you are doing well. xoxo
Another gorgeous look and looks so great with the color of your sweater. Do you prefer Monika Blunder foundation or the Fara Homidi compact foundation?
Thank you so much! So that is a good question! I really think the Fara Homidi compact is a versatile product with both a velvety matte and a dewy formula that you can customize. I like both and just got this new one - so I am excited about it! LOL!
😊So interesting!! I always think I'm neutral..maybe slightly warm. I can do both warm and cool tones on my face. I just need to avoid very muted/somber and dark colours
Yep, this is just sort of a fun rabbit hole to go down. I will always wear both warm and cool but fun to play! AND yep- the dark and somber do nothing for me too! xoxo
Hi Abby thank you for sharing the video. I find color analysis very interesting. In some color analysis systems, Soft Summer is the secondary palette to Soft Autumn (and vice versa). Two YT channels that have been helpful to me in understanding the different process are @colouranalysis_studio and @ColorClassInc Both channels have very gracious and thoughtful creators. Some systems do not take hair color into account and other systems do factor in hair color during part of the analysis. Thank you again for an enjoyable and helpful video.
Skin looks fabulous as usual.
Love your look
You are the best!!! Thank you and I hope you are doing well. xoxo

So pretty! I've been gravitating towards bronzers with just a hint of color.
Thank you, Brenda! I love the bronzers with just a hint of color too! Good idea. xoxo
