The pre-ruffled trim would be a quick border as it is already hemmed-no having to turn up the edges-just sew to edge of towel. Joann’s sometimes has all their trims 50% off n I have seen them on sale at HL for 40% off.

Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
@@TheSewingRoomChannel I was talking about a book sleeve. It is a travel case for your book or kindle to protect it during travel.
When you sewed your place matt pocket ,and rick rac . Did you sew them on before you put the two sides together or did you sew them on after you turned them right side out ?
Hi Leslie. You can sew the pocket it on before or after. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
i cant find any 1 inch on amazon
Hi Stephanie. It's there. Make sure you select the Arts,Crafts,Sewing section. Enter this - "rick rack 1" wide"
Some of the rick rack is .78" wide, and others are 1 1/8" wide
Also look at etsy.com - sometimes they have more color options. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
Ms Sheryl do you wash your towels, fabrics and rick rack first? I am always concerned about shrinkage. Love your channel! Thanks much.
She mentioned that she likes to prewash her fabrics before sewing them together in order to get most of the shrinkage out of them. I like to do the same thing by sewing a long stitch or basting stitch along all of the sides of each fabric piece to prevent too much unraveling/fraying. I hope this helps and works for you. 🙂
Hi Shirley. I would wash the towels. I don't wash the rick rack before. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
