I never heard Belmont and sauce in the same sentence but after those first 2 clips I accept it .
Just about every character in this game has sauce of SOME variety. But some sauce is just better than others. Even a good Dr. can wreck house under the right circumstances.
You've been playing against terrible spamy Belmonts, granted they still need to use their special moves to compensate the character weaknesses.
How can you forget the legendary Richter down airing a pikmin. That’s as Saucy as it gets
I was on the fence with Belmont but not anymore
@@Geneolgia belmont is so fun, but also the most tilting when you're losing since sometimes the other player is genuinely worse but using someone busted like pikachu lmao
To Editor: those highlights of Fatality’s opponent before the match was kind of Sick. Not asking for more, just giving credit *because it’s Due.*
It would be cool if there were highlights before every FT10. It would hype it up.
Yeah, it’s a good way to show what are the people Fatality is gonna fight capable of, I loved that detail!
I agree with these comments. The nice highlight clips b4 the match are cool
youre *gay*
Grant Nabit you good there? Who hurt you?
A man who has projectiles hidden away but uses them all vs a man with a visible firearm but doesn't use it.
Not accounting for the fact that Richter also has a dagger on his hip that he never uses
@@turi5959 ok.
His up special is the dagger 🗡
I mean falcon does have a “fire-arm” if u know what I mean
Couldnt think of a name nice
Best quote: “enough sandwich, time for violence...”
Shirt ready
Rightfully soo
Tf2 in a nutshell
Violence, speed, momentum.
36:54 was sick. He really knows perfectly how to space and use projectiles
Had to watch that sequence more than once to understand what I've seen. :D
"Enough Sandwich; Time for Violence"
That'd go so great on a shirt.
When does he say that, I don’t feel like watching the whole thing
@@diego7873 within the first like 5 minutes lol. right before he begins the best out of 10 in fact.
@@OniiChanPls Ooohhh, I saw it, that's the best quote I've heard all month
Ok wannabes out there (including myself), look at this stock at 30:15 watch how Dom already starts charging his up-smash as soon as Fatality gets caught in the holy water BEFORE the cross ever even hits Fatility. Dom knew the cross was coming and it would launch Fatality directly above him for the smash. Masterful Belmont plays throughout this First to Ten episode.
It happens so fast you really almost have to play it frame by frame, but he really does start charging upsmash right at the moment his holy water connects.
It's a basic Belmont confirm really (I'm not a player, I just watched tons of belmonts)
This is the special weapon right here 26:16
Not gonna lie, I’ve met some very annoying and spammy Belmonts online, but this guy - he used all projectiles with a purpose and strategy. I wasn’t even mad.
22:55 - 22:59 was beautifully done
jyrrin ledge trump into side b. I’m totally stealing that
thats how you play Castlevania (as long as you have enough hearts)
The spamming of the projectiles annoys me but when this guy combos like crazy how can you hate it and he perfectly spaced everything out like you HAVE to give him credit. Like the combo with the projectile thrown first then down B and then the projectile hits falcon and then up B to death NOW THAT WAS AMAZING
Caleb Rosales this was the comment i was looking for, i couldn’t agree more.
bruh he's not spamming he's looking for setups
This isn't projectile spam. Stop being a scrub
Melo I don’t mean that he’s pressing random buttons but that he’s using the same projectiles and it’s what he should do using this character it still gets annoying when you see the same old thing over and over again every second so yea he is spamming the same moves he’s not mashing
Tsyuna Desu alright it’s whatever but you guys got my point I didn’t mean to say that he was just throwing it out there and running around until it hit falcon idk what to call it then
Fatality’s expressions and shouts when those off stage axe’s got a little too close had me bustin up 😂
Same here after rewatching this, especially "Oh my Jesus!" LMAO
Omg looks at this Belmont combo at 36:56
Masterful. Galaxy brain type shit.
“TAKE THIS!” Intensifies
Every Wifi Belmont thinks they're playing as saucy as Dom LOL
Shut up man my 200,000 gsp richter is just as if not MORE saucy than Dom's
TAKE THIS
psy duck take this what? GSP?
@@HalfIsland LAG
No we know lol
We’re just doing our best, those angled aerials were on point, most people are trash with that.
as if many of them exist in the first place
28:43 ABSOLUTELY D I S G U S T A N G!!!
That was a great set. Really nice reactions and reads from both players. T3 Dom is incredible at constantly maintaining stage control. Also, shout out to Fatality for his great mindset as a player
I wish I could play the Belmonts like this, one of my favorite franchises in smash.
I never thought I’d have this much fun WATCHING a Belmont out of all characters
This guy is insanely good how have I not heard of him before? Really shows the potential of the character, call it projectile spamming if you want there's a method to it and this guy makes it work, insane.
people can stay sleeping Belmonts all they want, this character is so much more than mindless projectile spam and people will see that soon enough
T3 Dom is real cool he has my respect
@Drew Benit And we didn't need your comment lol
Drew Benit lmao you 4 year old
This Drew Benit guy must've deleted his comment what did he say?
TrynaGitGud he said “simp city 😎😎😎”
@@AverageHandle_ eugh the fact that he used shades emojis made it corny as hell
If Dracula ever returns to this realm, we need T3 Dom to take him out.
I wish there was a first to ten where we could griffin and his opponent could hear each other during the games. could lead to some entertaining commentary I think
The one with trihex they're on a call, but I'm assuming you mean with top level players
That was a masterclass of Belmont.. holding on to this video for future reference lol
Whenever Fatality just starts a new stock off the angel platform with an immediate knee and lands it for no reason at all. I like to call it:
"The Fatality Entry"
I hope you continue to put those mini montages of the player to give them even more exposure
Fatality, do you know that this series is really special? Where else can we see the best players in the world showcase their talent, and their characters, like this?
6:50 the comeback is real, and the pressure never stops !...
You can see it on Fatality's face, smiling more and more as he sees it coming !
12:36....So are we not gonna talk about that? HE HIT IT TWICE IN A ROW
YESSSS I'm so stoked that Dom is getting some more attention. He definitely deserves it. Landing all the saucy high level combos! That holy water into back-air forward smash is my fav
One of my best friends is a Belmont main and he looks up to T3Dom so much.
I think I’m okay with never hearing “TAKE THIS” ever again in my life with how much I heard it in this one set LMAO.
southsideteejay take this
The fact that he lived an up b over 170 is kinda crazy for a character that isn’t, like, Bowser.
"HUH!" "TAKE THIS!" "TAKE THIS!" "HUH!" "HEH!" "GO!"
'Hur dur durrrr Ultimate is getting campier'
>Belmonts go from the spammiest, most linear characters in the game--to this awesomeness right here.
Seriously. People are so negative. Forget them. This is awesome.
for real, people will talk down on the belmonts without ever having played a half decent one, and when they get absolutely destroyed by one act like belmonts carry.
16:20
Yo, these characters are sick!
Dropped my jaw.
The sauce
Captain Falcon looking kinda thicc in that thumbnail...
i'm the first admit, I hate playing Belmonts online because most are sweaty campers and spam projectiles. However this guy is an exceptional player. He used every projectile with a purpose and his spacing/combo game is insane. Props to him.
Belmonts are my main and Falcons my secondary so seeing my two fave players fight is great
36:20 he lost deadass focus after that SD
He wasn't kidding, Dom has the sauce.
this game has been out for almost 2 years, and I've never seen a belmont with half the sauce that Dom has. I'm sorry Fatality got lost in the sauce.
He definitely cant compete with dom skill wise Belmonts hard af to master vs captain falcon who easy as crap
@@Sosa_D_Roger It’s just a horrible matchup for falcon. Both characters take timing and skill
When richter said “take this”, I felt that.
16:09 best tech I've seen yet
T3 Dom is an absolute chad.
The down tilt hits were in beat to the music at 3:17 lol
Nice games, it was fun seeing a bounty hunter fighting a vampire hunter. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
Is it just me? Everytime fatality lose a stock and his facial expressions are absolutely funny lol
This was how Belmont was meant to be played
They did not realize, the score was 2 to 4 winning T3dom, at that moment fatality wins that match but the next it follows 2 to 4, rebid
didnt really change much at the end of the day
Fatality knew the real score tho, it was just a mistake with the overlay
I rarely see Belmonts online anymore and im glad. Fighting those characters is hell!
everyone hyping on 36:55 but 16:20 was pretty amazing too.
Gonna leave this here: Yall can hate the matchup given they're zoners - but the legit belmonts like this dude will sauce you're asses without needing to spam lol
People tend to just hate on the Belmonts because they are so annoying online and never acknowledge how hard they are to play at this level. It might look spammy at first but Dom's positioning and precision with projectiles and aerials alike is on point constantly. The fire bottle is not easy to position correctly since it can't be B reversed and unlike PK Fire or Robin's Arc Fire the bottle can be caught and used against him. They aren't hard to combo and their offstage game sucks because of their very limited recovery.
Overall Dom is dope and a joy to watch, and it's a shame people will still hate on and diss him just because of his character.
@Jordan Was gonna say there's a difference between spamming and knowing when to use options - but Ville basically beat me to it lol
@Jordan which still isn't true because Lucina and Roy and Chrom
also, did you know holy water has a huge SDI multiplier, and that the hitbox of the fire literally shrinks as it burns....for comparison, Robins arc fire's hitbox slowly expands as it burns. this means if you know what you are doing, you can SDI out of holy water 90% of the time literally faster than it is possible for Richter to throw out an Fsmash
@Jordan saying you need a projectile to be top tier is literally a meaningless metric considering most of the cast has some sort of projectile. (Only 13 of the base roster have no projectile, 5 of those 13 being fire emblem swordsmen, who many would consider top tier to begin with). You didn't find some secret to being a top tier, you just discovered how statistics work.
The Belmonts played optimally are so freaking oppressive
I’m only on game 6 of this so far but this Richter is fantastic. Plays like a pac-man. So methodical. His reaction to his own induced trajectories off his projectiles are spot on. Must be so frustrating and tense to play against lol. Let’s see how my mans holds up...
Pacman is arguably easier because his combos come from regular item throws. Belmonts have to rely on timing the reverse cross for them. But then again, they don't have to worry about z-drop shenanigans
I never disliked the belmonts but I have a newfound respect for them. God that's so much sauce.
WAIT, how NO ONE is mentionning 25:38 ??
He baited a reaction with a taunt !.. Swaggenius !... x')
3:16
That down tilt on beat with the music. Just an observation....
T3 dom is an artist with rich, great match
btw glad to see fatality is a phoenix wright fan
All that ledge trapping at the end of game 2 was sauuuucccceee
Aye, this mini Belmont montage of tite shit before the match is a hella cool touch. Good idea!
Fatality after these matches- I don’t want to do anymore this taking today
44:16 "fedinitely" hahaha
This guys pressure is something to behold
546. This is the amount of 'take this' i heard in this video
Bruh
26:15 Holy Water into forward hit of B-air into F-smash? What are this man's setups?
I said the same thing!
I didnt even know it was part of the set up at first I thought he whiffed and did an f smash to cover it, but no that hit landed and it was intentional. Hes probably the best Belmont in the world, like his setups are nice.
I think people can agree this are just B special moves spammers set up right? belmont is jhust a B spammer right' ? aM I right? spammer... yeah.. of course. a character that can't kill you even at 150 with up b, up air, f tilt, neutral b.. ..
Top level Belmonts now do this tech. It's hard and Dom is like the only one who regularly does it in sets, but it's now more common. It;s more optimal than regular fsmash at ledge, because you can kill at like 20
This guy's advantage state is the stuff of nightmares
A lot of people sleep on Belmonts and think they're entirely neutral fiend with bad everything else until they fight a good one and never leave disadvantage.
I think you forgot to count after game 7. It would be 3-4 after this 21:21
3:16 the kick perfectly syncs with the music
I swear I'm gonna hear the words, "Take this!" in my nightmares tonight.
Not sure if it's been mentioned previously, but just a heads up that there's a little gap or fold on your green screen toward the top right, so there's a gray sliver there on vid. No worries, obvi. Great match to watch! Actually loved seeing you against such a quality Belmont. Dom is slick. Thanks for the content, dude.
10:19 going frame by frame here is painful...
This was a really great video. I always struggle against the Belmont's in this game, but this video gave me better ideas/ways to deal w/ them. I'm just glad I dont main heavies against these characters, lol.
*Richter handing out Christmas presents to his friends*
TAKE THIS
16:19 The man was laying the trap before you even knocked on his door
12:15 was amazing
First stock had me worried but the clap back reassured me. Fatality is my all time favorite smash player :)
12:25 absolutely genius
36:17 Fatality SD so hard, his face got blurred out 🤪
3:17 Down tilt sync with the music
This was really fun to watch
Lol his face at 6:23 can be a meme
this guy has a sick richter!!! never seen such a saucy zoner
16:20 When you just got owned in a big way.
Down tilt syncs with the music 3:16
T3 Dom wiped that smile right off your face!
That play at 8:10 was done by the hands god
Can we really credit how he can read comments out loud while piecing up his opponent with a 3 piece BBQ falcon combo
Nothing but respect for Belmont players, he's a very hard character to have success with. I wanted to main Simon when the game came out since Castlevania is my favorite series of all time, but the character just doesn't do what I want out of a Smash character as much as Falcon. I still use him sometimes, just don't main him.
Imagine how crazy would the Belmonts be if they based their movement speed from games like Symphony of the Night or Portrait of Ruin, instead of the clunkier NES Castlevanias.
If Up B went as high as the MetroidVania titles and could be spammed... If Dash Attack could be used in the air and spammed... If Holy Water had Roman Numerals... If HYDRO STORM!! ...In an alternate universe, Belmonts are Top Tier, and dominate Smash Ultimate. I'd kill to live in such a universe... Still, it's crazy to even think we have Castlevania in Smash at all!
I respect Richter and Simon but it's for the better that they aren't top tier. Ultimate would be significantly worse with them. Not only is it healthy for Ultimate, but it makes a good Belmont offline a lot more appreciated. Plus, they NEED to be balanced and have poor air mobility to compensate for their ridiculous range and projectile game.
@@nuibaba280 i know they have poor air mobility because of their range, it happened with Min Min too, it was all theoretical, i'd hate them to be Top Tier and get more unnecessary hate but just thinking how much better with faster movement they could be is pretty interesting, i don't know if they're going to come back for a future Smash but i hope Richter gets some changes to differentiate him from Simon, maybe they could compensate by making his attacks weaker.
@@olivierbaguette6062Seriously, having anything Castlevania related in Smash made me satisfied with the base roster, and we're extremely lucky to get 2 characters and a stage with pretty much a compilation of the best of Castlevania music, Simon was kind off a given but Richter was godlike, i'm glad he was choosen too, even smaller stuff like the Dracula Spirit becoming Soma is great.
I miss when fatality won these FT10s haha
This was a fun matchup to watch. Both players had sauce 👌
12:29 that axe
What the actual fuck am I watching, T3 | Dom is _fucking_ _insane_ ! :O
I always tell people that a good Belmont is something you should be afraid off.
thinking about that one kid that donated in the beginning and said he was inspired by fatality and he didn’t say a word
If you can’t get fully optimal punishes against dom when you actually get in good luck winning.
Attention shitters.
This Belmont IS NOT SPAMMING. Spamming does not equal using projectiles. Spamming is where you are only using one to two moves and nothing else.
Dom is a Belmont on a high enough level where EVERY one of his projectiles is thrown for a reason. If you have ever played the character or know anything about the Belmonts at a high level, you will realise this.
He is constantly going for setups that will potentially kill. When he lands a hw, he looks to convert it to u air nair combos. When he throws a cross out, he looks to smack fatality into the return cross, so he can extend the combo and possibly kill with usmash.
Yeah, people might hate on the belmonts but T3DOM make plays that are satisfactory to watch
T3 Dom's setups are just f*cking insane. What the hell...
2000 cal drink?! Fatality trying to put on some weight? I didn't think he was that thin.
if only belmont up b had slightly more power i'm mad that didn't kill at 10:05
nah it wouldve on any ordinary player but fatality's di is immaculate
Dom on last stock is terrifying
