    The two knots are equal in keeping tension. Difference is pro knot is smaller than Parnel. So if you use thick string, Pro knot looks better, and if you work on thin string, parnel is bigger and can keep the knot above gromets. Nowadays most string are 1.20mm I will use Parnel all the time. But if you have to tie on a very tiny space than Pro knot could help a lot.

    Is parnell knot as same as double knot?

      double knot, but using only 1 loop. normal double knot has 2 knots, hence = double. parnell is more like 1.5 knot :)
