    Here are my Top 7 Fair benefits for Uber-Driver Partners. Fair's weekly offer available to drivers in California is a simple solution to get driver-partners on the road to earn with Uber.
    Having a reliable car is one of the most critical things a driver needs to be successful on the road.
    Fair's offer with Uber has many things that make it an outstanding option for Rideshare drivers. However, I have a list of 7 benefits I really like. The Fair app is "Super Awesome."
    Unlimited Miles
    Affordability
    Low Commitment
    Car Options
    Insurance, Warranty & Basic Maintenance
    Earn Rewards
    Simple Setup
    Individuals ready to hit the road with fewer worries about maintenance, car insurance or car depreciation I highly recommend looking into this offer.
    Fair gets you a car to drive and earn with Uber.
    Fair offers affordable vehicles that are road ready with low commitment. I think you should check them out.
    Here is the link to learn more about the offer:

    The Fair program is administered solely by Fair. Uber is not responsible for third party products or services, including the Fair program or any Fair offer.

    Bro...they're taking 50% percent. Fact. I'm hearing passangers tell eachother out loud how much the fair cost them during the ride. Verbadum one said "it cost me like 20 something bucks". At the end of that ride I got he fair and it was $10.38. There you go boys, the truth.

    I'm in California, and for a 2015 Volkswagen Passat, the Fair App shows a Start Payment of $500.00 or $548.00 with tax, and is not refundable. Plus the weekly payment is $200.00 or $219.00 with tax. ( I have Screen shots to prove) You have 3days to return it if you dont like it, but if it has more than 100 miles on you lose you start payment. Their “very” limited warranty doesnt cover much. They cover oil changes and roadside assistance, but you will pay for mostly anything else major. Major maintenance is NOT included: Brakes, tires, battery, electrical system, fuel system, dings and scratches are all covered by You, the renter. Hertz is a better deal, if your Hertz rental breaks down, they'll just switch out your car. Most of these Fair cars are actually ex Hertz rental cars anyway that they buy after Hertz is done with them. Most have 40,000 plus miles on them, and have been driven hard, so expect so major problem to occur soon

    Quick tip .......There's a shortage of good painters in Los Angeles and other cities for the new home builders, and when the economy tanks, you usually have to paint your house if you want to sell it or rent it. Also, drywall repair, if you can learn to patch holes, hot mud and texture, you'll always have work if you have your act together.

    Dang Calvin lol. Uber Man here. What kills me is the $800 a month for a car. Uber has cut rates across the board, and this is a car you will never even own. To me it seems like a bad deal lol. I can go out and get a $2500 car that qualifies for Uber and Lyft, and even at today's ridiculously low rates of $0.60/mi I can recoup 100% of that initial investment back in an easy 2 months. I learned earlier on that U/L videos will never get anywhere on YT (unless you are doing parody vids, rapping vids, etc that eventually get you terminated anyway and thus the channel dies with it). U/L has no real following on YT, which is why most videos are lucky to pass 5K views. You have major talents man, your channel could do so much better if you moved away from these U/L videos and found something more interesting to the majority of people on UA-cam. Great video man, for real, but the deal sounds bad.

    • @TheSimpleDriver

      Hey Randy, it's definitely not for everybody. It helps for those in a clinch who need to get some money going. Of course your a better business owner than most. I surely agree with the U/L niche, and it's the cap for views. Your Auto Auction Rebuilds channel switch is blowing up brother. You deserve that UA-cam plaque bro' Congrats on that. I'm watching the vids...lol Thanks for the talent compliment :-) Remember, I have another channel that I'm about to explode ==>>> (Power of Publish). Plus, later I'll move this channel into other automobile content, it's the reason I named it "The Simple Driver." I planned it all...LOL

    I have a question I have a 2017 Avalon touring XLE I got it brand new June 2017 then got laid off from my job January 12, 2018 I’ve been driving for Uber since and have racked up 96,000 miles It gets great gas mileage and it’s in immaculate condition should I use the fair program???? I do have a promo code instead of paying the $500 upfront fee it’s $436.... I’m just trying not to wreck up so many miles anymore on my Toyota that I have currently supposedly they cover the maintenance etc. I have looked into somethings seems like it’s legitimate will I still be able to get my promotions? Or should I continue to drive my Avalon touring currently and hope for the best? Do these Toyotas last while?

    .... so let me understand, if you using the Uber-Driver Partner program and fill the quota of 70 trips you get a kickback of $185, but if you are using your own vehicle and for the same amount of trip, you get nothing, and on top of this you are not subject to the cost of amortization, maintenance, insurance and even the mileage that you log is unlimited ..... that is weird, no ..Uber is "Punishing me for using my vehicle, IMHO this is a discrimination, am I missing something here ????

      To have $236.00 payment u need money down up front and have to. Say $2,500, not everyone has down payment. Add insurance and new car warranty helps. Your forced 70 rides only Uber platform. I think good they have but I'm more free to all ride share platform but still I think good they have this no worries just buckle down get your 70 rides in just can be easy and or hard different each week need to be in a good market

  • @JC-DC
    @JC-DC 5 років тому

    Ok, so it's 06/12/2019 I'm in Los Angeles. Today It's 185/wk + tax & $185 down. They are offering first week free, so it's about $204 to start, but 2-3 day wait for a car in Lawndale (kinda near LAX). They say it includes basic maintenance and you have to use your time to take it to their approved place where they cover the basic maintenance. But what about not so basic stuff??? If that's not covered, what happens?? Do I pay for a car that doesn't run or make me $$. Why does the driver who happens to rent at the wrong time or mileage get stuck with all the responsibility for the beat up car? Does that person have to cover major repairs? If so, How is this legal. I'm not talking about long term lease or rental, this is one week at a time. How do I know the people at the lot don't give their friends the good cars and make new people do all the oil changes and cars that suck? And it says insurance included while driving for uber. Seems like a lot of fine print. I wasn't approved to drive for lyft, but was for uber. Both of them used Checker background check company?? Kinda weird????
    I'm not looking to get rich. Just to back in my feet and have no car. The one good thing is after 90 trips (used to be 70) you get $185 bonus,pays for car. But you can't do boost or quest bonuses. Fair also have or used to have long term leases, so it's hard to get accurate reviews or information.
    I Googled the Lawndale location and some guy named Fernando has good reviews, but when you call the number listed, they don't know anything. Sounds like luck of the draw, it took me from May 24 until June 11 to hear back from Uber. Some of these apps take a few years to work out the bugs. Why wouldn't they just charge a little more and keep their vehicles in good running order??? So, just because someone writes something on a contract and makes you sign it, doesn't mean it's really legal or ethical.
    If your under 30 yrs old, I would go check out an aprrenticeship program in one of the trades and earn while you learn. I know plumbers that have a sweet work van and a Mercedes Benz and a house. All the successful people I know have skills and a good work ethic.
    If I do this Uber thing, it's only long enough for a good truck and tools.
    PS....Young people, chose your mate carefully. I chose the wrong one and everthing went downhill. Your better off alone.

      Didn't they lower the pay

    • @thebrazilshow
      @thebrazilshow 5 років тому +2

      Nicholas Lopez Yep! They lowered it to .60 cents a mile and took away the minimum fare supplement. Also gas in Cali is over $4.00 a gallon! I know a lot of drivers in L.A. and San Francisco have left Uber because of this. Probably why they had to go out of State and get Calvin from Atl who doesnt even drive, to do the video and recruit new drivers, because older drivers are leaving in disgust! I doubt any Cali rideshare UA-camrs would do a video for Uber (and there are many) they'd immediately be labeled an Uber sellout and loose credibility and their followers. No hate on Calvin, he's taking the money like he should and he doesnt drive or make rideshare videos anymore. But Uber is never doing any favors for Drivers! Dont get it twisted, read the fine print.

There no content on this video but telling you to rent cars from Uber 3) at no point he challenge Uber anymore like he used to do. It’s all good as we don’t know uber is skinning us alive. 4) some small business or regular people are renting their extra cars out to uber drivers but now Uber saw some money there and it’s coming after it with their low price strategy make everyone go broke then raise prices. Call it as it is. Uber employee. I like Calvin but you not fighting for drivers anymore. Plain and simple. I’m happy for you but don’t sell me honest advice.
