The hardest movie trivia vid I've seen on utube. I'm surprised there were a few I've never heard of. A bunch I knew partial titles to. I did embarassingly poorly, and I thought I was well versed in cinema of the past
In the interests of being entirely truthful, if I hadn't made the video, my score would have been around 18. Classics aren't my particular skillset. You give me an 80s or a 90s video, and I'll run the table. But there's just so much content pre-1970 and in a lot of cases even well-regarded movies have slipped through the generational cracks. Well, not counting the one or two movies that would have been featured on MST3K (looking at you, Danger Diabolik!)
Would you give me an example or two? It's really not my intention to use "trick" shots, especially in this particular series. If I'm not terribly familiar with a film, I try to use something that indicates a major plot point or I try to use a shot with the principal actors. Sometimes I go straight to TCM and use the image they use when discussing the film. And sometimes the image i think is positively iconic isn't nearly as iconic as i thought (for example, Peter O"Toole looking at the flame in Lawrence of Arabia before the cut to the desert is a legendary match cut... but not everyone read the same film theory books I did 30 years ago). But if that is still potentially misleading, I'm really sorry! There is a line I try to keep, which is that I don't want to use the most blatantly obvious image possible (I call it my Forrest Gump bench rule), but I also don't want to be so vague that you'd have to have seen the film 50 times to even remotely recognize what's happening (unless it's Jaws. Because everyone should have seen Jaws 50 times)
@WordNerdTriviaQuizzes I simply found the chosen pics too obscure that there wasn't enough info to make a guess. These seem to be hardcore clues as opposed to easy clues.

27 also. Said Hooper instead of Harper. Recognized the actors but forgot the films or didn't know to begin with. Oh well.
44 for me but l am an old cinema buff with a large dvd and Blu-ray collection.

Appreciate the feedback. In the future I will try to improve on that.
A couple were tough, like Lolita. It had all three stars, but they were caught not really looking like themselves.
