My BF is from Taiwan, and he went to visit his family and asked what I wanted as a souvenir, and I asked him to get me some children's Chinese character study workbooks of various levels for me to practice. I find it really hard to find resources in Traditional mandarin with the bopomofo etc everything uses the pinyin. That's my main complaint trying to learn taiwanese traditional mandarin. There are so many more resources for the mainland versions.

Pearl Milk Tea and Taiwanese tea shops in the United States seem to be a west coast (California, Washington State) phenomenon. I don't see them in the Midwest states. However, I have seen them in Arizona (Phoenix area).

Thanks for your feedback. It’s hard to satisfy everyone because many don’t want to see pinyin. However, I do offer transcript service and pinyin zhuyin versions for my students on Patreon. Please take a look in the description
Tiger sugar sells a brown sugar bubble tea popsicle here in Costco. It’s expensive though. I like bubble tea, but I prefer 冬瓜檸檬 with aloe or coffee with 珍珠。It’s all expensive here where I live in Florida because there isn’t a lot of competition. Around $6.50-$7 usd for bubble tea.
I think my order is something like.... 大奶茶加木薯四分之一甜 A large milk tea with tapioca, a quarter sweet. ... maybe thats right? One place where I live has rose flavored milk tea I find interesting. I like trying all the different kinds. sometimes they put the cheese foam on and I'm not really into that.
@@MandarinWithMissLin Yes! Thank you! I am going to put this in my notebook. Yes the cheese foam is not my taste. In your video you mentioned Taro flavor being everywhere; I live in Canada and we have the Taro flavor everywhere too. I like it, but I prefer either what the store i frequent calls "hokkaido milk bubble tea" or sometimes if i feel like fruity flavor, i like Lychee flavor. They have this nice Sakura milk bubble tea that I also really like. It is like a pink floral tasting milk tea, with strawberry popping boba and that is also very nice.

i still remember when milk tea in taiwan was 50NT. Now in US, its all like 180+ :(
