This year has marked a return to the "old-style" conditions in terms of rainfall and weather patterns, reminiscent of decades past. So, when the sun finally seems to come to stay, everything on the farm awakes!
In this week's video, I showcase the blooming flowers on my heritage farm, nestled in the mountainous central Portugal, as a testament to the arrival of the sun!
Summer is as important as any other season, but here in Portugal, it holds special significance. It's a particularly harsh period, characterized by extremely high temperatures and prolonged droughts.
These conditions pose significant challenges to wildlife, trees, plants, and even humans, in a constant struggle to survive.
Despite the stress, the blooming flowers offer a glimmer of hope and resilience in the face of adversities.

Very nice tune you selected. One of the quintessential songs of the generation that came of age in the early 70's with a little country twang. The artist was a good choice for this cover.
You stewardship at the farm is having quite the impact. So many beautiful flowers shrubs and trees. It would be quite a joy to take your leave of the city at the end of the work week and retreat to this idyllic setting. BRAVO! Enjoy :)
