Why people keep saying Jahan Dotson?? We had two 3rds. The 3rd we got from Philly for Dotson was NOT the 3rd that was sent to the Saints. We sent OUR 3rd. We still have the Dotson 3rd
Because it’s a third, we probably don’t trade for lattimore if we didn’t have an extra 3rd since we still want draft capital for next year…Dotson trade allowed that flexibility…the ridgeway 6th is basically giving saints it’s 6th bk….only non extra pick was 4th
Who's saying Lattimore is a rental? He has 2 yrs left on his deal after this season. This gives u the ability to draft the best players available instead of going in thinking that u have to get a CB1 and reaching, i.e. Jamin Davis and Emmanuel Forbes
Exactly. It shows two more contract years ranked top 10 but not overpaying like free agency. He may want more guaranteed money which may change the structure if the plays well on the minimum contract due this year.
We have so many options. WSH can allow Lattimore to finish the season virtually for league minimum salary then flip him and get back what we gave up for him (worst case scenario). Or allow him to finish out his current 2 yr contract. Or restructure for a more team friendly deal at the end of the season. AP is cookin with grease.
Washington still has two years of control of Marcus L after the rest of this year at 18 million next year and year after it’s perfect
I don't think this is going to be a short term rental.

For the Philly game, I kinda rather see Noah stay at nickel, Lattimore on AJ, Sainristil on Devonta. In 11 personnel, BSJ on Dotson.
Tischler Tuesdays!
I am NOT Craig Hoffman, and I approve this message also.

Yea listening to how they are talking it's like they think he's be a free agent this off season
Team has total control. Could be or could keep him b/c he has 2 years left, but no guaranteed money.
Isn’t his contract through 2026 and if so, why do we need to resign him this season or immediately after?

@@williewinfree65exactly….a restructuring for more guaranteed money or restructuring the base pay into bonuses to help cap

Craig what up baby!!!! First on the like my guy!!!!
A dumb take, it's not a rental. He's under contract through 2026
We can add dj reed next offseason to lock down both sides of the field ✌️
Or draft another low cost, huge upside CB stud like Sainristil , but outside.
