Singer: Matthew Ciuffitelli
Lyrics by: Matthew Ciuffitelli
Song: Largo al factotum
From: The Barber of Seville
Composed by: Gioachino Rossini
The flawless diction at tempo prestissimo, vitality, sincerity, stage presence and on an on. I've already shared this with several of my musical colleagues. It just really brightened my day. It's like replacing a 40 watt light bulb with 1000 watts. I really wish you were at the NY Met.
This may be one of the most concise and pleasant comments I've ever received! Thank you so much!
Gioachino Rossini is probably laughing in heaven at this one!!!
Kryztian Samuel gosh I hope so! 😂
Matthew!! No baritone on recordings (from Battistini in 1902-present) has ever held the final high G that long. VERY funny and very fabulous! Thanks for this video. Loved it.
Jeffrey Miller is that right?? I honestly did not know that!! 😱 thank you so much for the kind words ☺️
The Opera Guy I’m pretty sure. I can’t think of any on “historical” recordings. All the great baritones usually nail a great G, but none hold it as long as you did. The “suspended” ending in your very clever and funny English version is perfect, but if you ask me, would also add to Figaro’s swagger in any perf of Barbiere. Of course most conductors would have none of it and fire you. 🙄
I wish you continued success! You have a solid, beautiful voice with easy top. Loved your Silvio and your Tanzlied.
Jeffrey Miller you absolutely right about the conductor’s not having it hahaha! Again much appreciated and thank you for watching my other videos! I’m glad you enjoyed them ☺️
Matthew Ciuffitelli---what amazing talent! Not only the voice, but an incredible comedic sense. Even more impact to be classically handsome and also displaying such humor and presence. You remind me of my relative, the "last of the greats" bass Samuel De Palma--when he was young.
You are incredibly sweet Jesse thank you!!! And an especially big thank you for the comparison to such and incomparable singer!!!
@@OperaDaddy Look forward to seeing more of your performances in future!!
Ahh, Matthew! Well done! Loved the clever humour and of course your fabulous singing! I love how you include your animal family members in your productions🤗! Thank you for the laughs and all the effort you put into entertaining us. Stay safe.
African Violet thank you so much!! Glad to hear you enjoyed it 😁😁
Opera Guy, you really rock, if you'll pardon the expression ... great voice, witty lyrics, great way to start the day ... like the baritone pants!
Patrick Linehan thank you so much! And I’ll absolutely pardon the expression haha Gotta love Old Navy!
You did amazingly well, not only are you one of only a few who can do this aria justice, but also the Corona lyrics were witty and well integrated. Thanks for sharing, very funny. 😁
Laurent Grimal thank you so much for the kind words Laurent! ☺️ much appreciated
@@OperaDaddy been following you for a couple of years, very nice voice and technique
Bravo - beautifully done ... and great hair!!
Ronizetti thank you! It’s getting a little out of control with the whole, not being able to go to a “barber” thing! Haha the irony is not lost on me 😂
This is brilliant, funny and very well sung!! Bravo, sir!!!!!!
Thank you so much!! 😁😁
Matthew! Love your videos and amazing voice! Thank you for bringing many smiles to my day! Keep it up! You're great!

Thanks for tipping me off to this, Christopher King!

Letra: Matthew Ciuffitelli
Canción: Largo al factotum. De "El Barbero de Sevilla" de Gioachino Rossini
* FACTÓTUM CORONAL *
Me estoy volviendo loco en cuarentena,
me siento tan vago confinado.
Extraño a mi familia.
Covid 19, Covid 19.
Empezó a toser ella y ahora me mareo.
No quiero saberlo (X4)
¡Ay, coronavirus!, ¿qué nos has hecho? (X2)
permanecemos confinados,
los países cerrando en el mundo entero.
Coronavirus, nos estás jodiendo...
¡REALMENTEEEE PUÑETERO! 😡

Lou García thank you for your kind words and oh my goodness!!! Thank you for doing a Spanish translation! This will be so useful for all my Spanish listeners of which I’m noticing now that I have a few! Again thank you so much! 🙏❤️
@@OperaDaddy Many thanks for your reply and for fixing my translation.
Love it! Hahaha! :D
WOW! BRAVOOOOOOO! 🙌.... have no fear those little emoji hands are washed ... You really are Exceptional! Wit, Talent, Looks! I think they call that a triple threat!😉
Can’t be too upset about quarantine? I mean ... not really......It brought “YOU” to “US” !!! Your You Tube audience!
Hmm...🤔. sooooo.........”THANK YOU quarantine ?
(Said in a ...shy, whispery, unsure, practically regretful, shouldn’t have said that, I should delete that, who says thank you quarantine? I don’t know, sounds dumb when I read it back, doubt I will hit send, eye rolling, regretting it already, well I suppose it’s not the worst thing in print, definitely humming and hawing on this one, I’m totally stress eating over this, I should rewrite this, what? Even spellcheck abandoned me, yeah I should just forget about it, you tube will ban me, for sure the opera guy will ban me, holy shit I gotta get a grip with this quarantine thing, voice)
Corona never had so much octaves. 😁👍
Great job. Once more proven that English is NOT a language suitable for operating singing LOL
Alla Axelrod couldn’t agree more! 😂
Bravo!
Chris Sirois thank you! 😁
