Try Harkari in Chatsworth. The no rice sushi is so bomb.
That valley had great sushi spots along Ventura Blvd. back in the day. There are a few of them left.

Yes some of them are cooked or seared but raw is my favorite

Tamago (sweet egg) and takoyaki are a waste of stomach real estate. So are rolls with spicy salmon, spicy tuna, etc and tempura flakes. The only roll worth ordering is a rainbow roll because it has multiple cuts of sashimi.
