The final heading that you put in to intercept the localizer is a rough estimate of the heading you should turn to intercept the localizer. For example in the video my last waypoint dropped me off in between the 2 runways so I got the plane to turn towards the runway I wanted to land on so I could intercept the localizer.
Thank you This was very Helpful thanks to you now i can finally Make flight plans because i did not know how to lol and it came to me and i was like you know what i think this is very easy so thats how i know thank you so much and have a good day Bye! ;)
I have a problem with my autopilot. It does everything accordingly to what my flight plan tells it to do but when it comes to my final approach the autopilot doesn't turn the airplane to align it with the runway even though I've put the runway that I want into the flight plan. It just keeps going straight forever.
When in flight you have to click menu and on the left slide where it says you aircraft and flight time and all that, there should be 3 boxes, click the 2nd one and once clicked there should be a tick on that box. Then if it shows 'ILS NOT CONFIGURED' click on that and select airport and runway. If you want to edit your flight path just click edit route. And make sure your heading is correct. If it still doesn't work, then when your about to approach keep the menu open and when approaching and the autopilot is not aligning with the runway click the APPROACH button ( when approaching the autopilot should enable it by itself ) and it should align with the runway by itself.
@@ayaansheikhlol thank you!! It does work sometimes without a heading being put into the flight plan. Other times it makes its own heading (a straight one) and just keeps going forever without wanting to align itself with the runway.
Appreciate the tutorial my man but I have a problem. Which key do you press to enable reverse thrust when you land. I just press A to move the throttle to minimum and keep spamming the letter V. Pls tell me which keys to press
The localizer familiarzies that as its a rough estimiate on the direct heading point onto the GPS direct and the flaps, the speed and distance, it matters about the knots and De-Prolefruration
ths was a really good tutorial, but in sept of 2022 the purple thing doesnt show up, but other then that everything about this is great and it really helped me
@@rtqzx.4820 ikr HERE IS MY THEORY!!! it may be false or true idk but at 10:10 when he points at the heading of Garde, which was shown 341. if you do 360-341 (Heading of the runway - heading of garde) you get the answer as 19, and since 19 is the predescceror of 20, so yeah thats how you calculate the heading. I believe the heading for all the runways are 360, so 360- the heading of the current waypoint and you will get the proper heading. It is the direction in which your aircraft is flying. It is just a number, so you can set it beforehand while creating the flightplan, or just directly enter it while your're flying your aircraft in the game.
When I recorded the video they had a thing where you had to hand fly the plane in but if you can intercept the localizer it should take you all the way in now.
@AlfonsoPlayz on the mini map there are + and - buttons you can use those to zoom in and out and if you zoom out far enough then you can see the runway

ty so much bro ur da best I finally landed without any crashes
a year later and it still works
thank you for making this
Thank you! Very helpful and understandable.
How do you know what heading you are… well, *heading* from the flight planner?

Hi, where do we find the map where we can see the waypoints
I finally did my first full flight recording without crashing thanks
the most funniest was that he was like "that thing" and then he just be silent but its called menu

I can't get in the folder in the descripion! And I need it for my flight plans!
What’s the localizer again?

This video is for how to use the flight plan system, you should go watch my how to play flight line video for that
Ok thx
So you basically hold S when you land ? Or there is more
@@ShahinyanTigran no that’s basically it
@@ShahinyanTigran You must have had your auto throttle still engaged when you were landing.
What airport is this from and to?
Thanks mate this helped a lot.
Thank you so much man. 🐈⬛
How do you know where the runway is? And what way it is pointing?
The localizer familiarzies that as its a rough estimiate on the direct heading point onto the GPS direct and the flaps, the speed and distance, it matters about the knots and De-Prolefruration
Appreciate it mate but 1 question how do you know the heading?
You don't actually have to worry about that heading the game with automatically line you up with the runway.
you dont have to worry about the heading just leave it but when you are approaching the runway and ils is on, turn ils off and land yourself
bro this helped me alot i thought you needed to know the heading to do the approach@@Bez34
ths was a really good tutorial, but in sept of 2022 the purple thing doesnt show up, but other then that everything about this is great and it really helped me
How would this work out with ATC? Because they ultimately choose which runway you land on, meaning you can't put it in the flight plan.
i know that i am late but i cant find the runway numbers on the chart, only at wellinsaul it says that. please help
You just have to study the numbers when you’re in the game
the file dosent work for me
The link for the map wont work😭
What will happen if I don’t set the heading as 20
Which airport is Tophon Bridge
JTPH
Excuse me I know I'm late but I'm having trouble with the heading, how do you know exactly what should be the heading? How did you know it was 20.
It’s a rough estimate based on the way that the runways are facing
@@Bez34 I'm really confused.

Bro if you dont mind, What is the meaning of 'Heading' in the autopilot?
It is the direction in which your aircraft is flying. It is just a number, so you can set it beforehand while creating the flightplan, or just directly enter it while your're flying your aircraft in the game.
But how did u know it was 20 heading??
Yeah fr
1 question, why does autopilot say "armed" when i reach the final waypoint?
When I recorded the video they had a thing where you had to hand fly the plane in but if you can intercept the localizer it should take you all the way in now.
@AlfonsoPlayz Ye sometimes it does, sometimes you have to disconnect the autopilot and hand fly the approach
@AlfonsoPlayz on the mini map there are + and - buttons you can use those to zoom in and out and if you zoom out far enough then you can see the runway
@AlfonsoPlayz and if you’re talking about setting a runway while in the flightplaning menu then just go look at the ERC low and it will show you
