Greenberry is to inconsistent in any playbook he shouldn't of forced that first int. U know Cane just changed it but he's like Andy Dalton and the Bengals when they get to the playoffs they not winning that first episode he shouldn't of picked Greenberry.
Hayden is not a starter. You have Garrett and Hayward starting. Hayward and Hayden are the same overall but Hayden superstar dev. Fix this or move Hayden to OLB
U should try changing the offensive playbook to a spread or west coast. It'll make it more dynamic becuz of the weapons u have. Changing just offense I think won't do it. I think if u go to the actual playbook and change it to spread it will make the change.
Now that you changed the scheme let Greenberry have next season. If he fails, he's got to go. Maybe in the off season try maybe get a extra receiver. And maybe if you grab that running back you took a look at or someone similar to be backup for Shaw.
MrHurricane thanks for introducing me to the most fun way to play madden franchise. I love building the team and watching the games like a GM. In my redskins rebuild I drafted my franchise QB 4th overall and then took another one in the 6th round because he had decent grades for a 6th rounder. It was a tough call but I ended up starting my 6th rounder over the 4th overall pick and he turned out to be a superstar player. After a year of sitting behind the 6th rounder I traded the 4th overall quarterback to the cardinals and he became their franchise quarterback. Then a couple years later the two teams met in the NFC championship game it was the ultimate showdown between these two quarterbacks it was so badass and rewarding how everything played out.
Count count me as a new fan. I stumbled upon your channel within the last week and let's just say I felt this serious was definitely binge-watch Worthy. I wait for the next one patiently. It isn't just that it's the Browns or that they were 0-16 I'm not a Browns fan but that's fine the way you run this franchise to be very realistic and peeling and your reactions when you watch a game live are so authentic that I appreciate it so much.

Today is Jan 15 2020. I just stumbled on this channel and was watching the panthers undrafted qb series and migrated over to this series. I have binged 20 episodes, and have just now realized how many episodes there are in this series. Am I prepared to watch about 3 full days of Madden football following the Cleveland Browns? I guess I am. Is my heart health ready to watch the rollercoaster and classic Browns failures take place? That I am not sure.
That first game was the epitome of why Madden still has so far to go to match realism. The throw in the red zone, the coverage on Morris’ TD, the kick and kickoff coverage, and finally Njoku not getting out of bounds. And and spikes taking forever to happen. Just ridiculous from the game.
That was such a hilarious game. Wow. Talk about a heartbreaker. I still blame shanahan. He obviously didn't learn his lesson passing when he should run lol

Its not the QB. Its because he isnt using a scheme that fits the offense. He is using zone run and that doesnt fit at all for Greenberry. No matter what QB he uses is going to fail with his current scheme and playbook.
ClancyDoesGames Well he did upgrade Greenberry's force trait to conservative. I think with the investment in traits he's making for Anton I think he's committed to him still. It's just the offense currently isn't allowing him to use all the weapons they have. If he can get Anton the throw away trait as well it will reduce the ints
Adjusting both main scheme and the individual player scheme should help. The individual one is huge; make sure it's matching the players' skill set (I drafted a RB who started at an 80 when I had it set for a receiving back. Changed the personal scheme to power back to match his strengths, and his overall jumped 9 points.) Don't be afraid to switch playbooks to match the new schemes.
I'm curious what the run blocking numbers are for your offensive linemen. It often looks like your runningbacks are getting tackled before they have a chance to show what they're capable of in space.
As a life long Browns fan... The Ravens game sums up what it has been like to see a game in real life. Greenberry shows no touch on the deep ball and Shaw still runs like Trent Richardson

However, what i would do this off season is either draft one of these in the first round, QB, WR, or a reciving TE. either find a new face or get more targets for your franchise face to throw to.

@MrHuriicaneLP I would use the Chiefs offensive playbook if I were you and change the scheme to West Coast. You should see less bad risky deep throws and more moving down the field piece by piece Tom Brady & Alex Smith style
I agree with a lot of folks you only go as far as your QB can take you. I think you need to evaluate that position by possibly trading him and moving on to someone with more upside. Idk if your HC is the problem but that may be another option to consider as well
Just for further explanation, the playbook I'm pretty sure affects the play calling a ton. So if changing just the offense to spread doesn't work at first, try going to offensive playbook and changing it to spread there. It should be able to work that way.
I wish there was a way you can compare your sack total for each year as a team because I think you're missing out on some socks because of the lack of good push from the defensive line the linebackers are great and you might have one good Edge rusher on the d-line but the other tackle and end are seemingly doing nothing

im confused, i did a dolphins franchise and i was looking for a RB with some power, found this guy in the 5th round w A- stiff A-truck and B+ carry, so i did what everyone would do and drafted him, all his other stats are low 80s ish to high 70s but for some reason he was a 67 OVR and i cant figure out why, his awareness was a pretty bad 59 but all rookies awareness is normally high to low 60s so idk whats keeping his overall low, ill still probably get him some carries but madden just confuses me sometimes
I run a franchise like Bill. I trade away older star players before they lose value. Only pay the QB, WR, and LT big contracts and maybe a big time WR or TE. Always have a ton of picks. And only get players that fit the scheme I run.
for god's sake change the quarters to 15 minutes so you get real numbers and your players can compete for awards!!!!!!!! if you watch 3 games at 10 min quarters a piece its almost like your players are playing one less game than everyone else. like to bump!
Anton Greenberry has the most passing yards through the first 5 seasons in NFL history; and is 2nd to only Dan Marion in TDs. Now, this is all given that someone else in the game didn't have some baller years, and top the IRL numbers.
You need to run a 3-4 defense since you tend to have much better linebackers than linemen (as a core)--though I'm not totally sure of the speed of your outside linebackers.
I need a good slider set for All-Maddon lvl, but here is the thing i play the game more like a GM , I like to pick the players and spectate watch all the games w/ 15 min quarters. So far after 5 seasons i notice injuries are off the charts and interceptions also sacks are pretty high at least on my side of the ball ..can anyone help me out?

Play calling is dreadful. We've seen what Greenberry can do, but they're not giving him the plays he needs. Also, maybe consider converting Parker Shaw into a wide receiver? He's really good at catching the ball.
Change your defensive playbook to the standard 4-3, when I did that in my browns franchise Garrett jumped from 9 sacks two years in a row to 19 and my LE went up from 2 to 9
I think the depth chart got screwed up with tavaris hayden, looks like they might have had bradley hayward starting over hayden for the majority of the season

And yes cane change to spread. It has a HUGE difference. For me in my colts franchise Andrew Luck went from 24 tds and 18 ints to 44 tds and 9 ints.
