Daryl Dixon surprises me and continues to be the most consistent and well written of the spin-offs, which is crazy because when this series was first announced, I thought it was going to be my least favorite. Right now, this show stands as my personal favorite, i'm very hyped for season 2, and I honestly can't wait to see what it brings.
Well written? Christ, you people have insanely low standards. It isn't saying much either because The Ones Who Live is god awful and Dead City is only OK at best. I actually prefer dead City than this tripe.

Characters like Carol are ones I use to defeat the claim that dudes just inherently dislike "strong women" in shows and movies. It's not true, we LOVE well written ones like Carol whose had probably the biggest transformation of any character from TWD and still around. She's been so well written and acted and it's why we love her.
Show wise she's one of my top 3 favorite characters of all. All 3 I hope will be together soon!!(Carol, Daryl and Rick).
Well written? Is this sarcasm? She couldn’t handle Ed, T-dawg gave up his life because Carol couldn’t take care of herself, then she kills a couple walkers whilst lost in the prison and some how that made her into a terminator. That’s some of the worst character development I’ve ever seen

Their stories are linked and will continue to be and there are subtle and subliminal clues throughout the main show and even the spinoff's 1st season, but if you insist time will tell, if not in season 2, then in season 3. First they have to deal with their pasts, their regrets, their fears and their traumas, which is what I think will happen this season.
The girlfriend that Negan and the pidgeonman talked about is once again risking everything to find him, and she definitely will.
