A question about isobars came up in a practice science test...had never heard of them. Had to do with comparing two cities where one had isobars close to each other and the other didn't, and what the likely differences in weather would be.
Great video How do weatherman know if it's 70s today in CT that it will be 98degrees on Wednesday? I know a warm front is easy to see but how exactly do they narrow exact temperature changes
When I have isobars far apart I still get gusty winds from the sun bringing down the weaker winds aloft. Not saying its gales but very breezy and it night its calm
everyone saying they’re learning this in college meanwhile i have to take it in grade 6…. by the next generation they’ll be teaching it to kindergarteners.
