Some people who do not know and love the city the way I do may not appreciate this video. It brings back many fond memories of visiting my brother when he lived at eighth and Judah. I remember taking the N out to Ocean Beach. This was back in the early 90s and there was a place catty-cornered from him called The Front Room and we would drink beer and eat pizza and every time the N - Judah passed, we would raise our beer and toast it and drink. Needless to say we got fairly snookered but luckily we did not have a far walk home! Great city, great memories. Thanks for posting this. I really enjoyed it and appreciate it! 💖🏙🌁
I lived in the Inner Sunset district from the late 50's thru the 70's. Many great restaurants in that area, and many are still there. Pasquale's pizza on 8th and Irving street was our go to place on Friday nights. Sometimes we'd even take the N Judah streetcar out to Ocean Beach and walk to Playland at the Beach and ride all the amusement rides. Then go to the Hot House for great Mexican food. Fun memories back in the day
I grew up in the Sunset at 45th & Judah in the 1950's and 60's. I was able to see the back of my childhood home from your shot at 46th & Judah. This was such a familiar walk for me going to the beach, the grocery stores, Celia's restaurant and Francis Scott Key grammar school. Thanks for bringing back many fond memories for me.

That's really awesome! So much of San Francisco remains familiar over decades, which is very uncommon in other cities.
Thank you so much for this lovely video
