Love your artwork, I only hope I have another 20 years to get to anywhere near you skills, After 10 years I’ve finally found someone who has helped, thank you. PS love Trident paints too.
Big thanks for your vids, they're awesome. I've been painting model cars with an airbrush and painting my guitar/bass builds with spray guns, but today was the first time I've done dots, lines and shading with an airbrush: a whole different ball game haha. Your art work is amazing.
I picked up an airbrush for customizing shoes and man these vids you're making are improving my results DRASTICALLY. Thank you so much for making the vids they're mad useful🙏
Thanks for the video - very informative as always! I've seen a couple of people who recommend practicing on glass to save paper. The idea is to have a reference grid under the glass to practice accuracy of placing dots and starting/stopping lines. The added benefit is that the dried paint can be easily scrapped off the glass with a razor blade leaving a clean surface ready for more practice. Glass is pretty well at the most extreme opposite to the T-shirt material you are recommending, do you have a any comments on this? Cheers!
I've try to make a personnal tshirt for a party with some lettering made by masking after some weeks of practice with the airbrush. Quite a fun experience to redo 👍
Thank you for these videos. I just started and I notice white spiders when I try to get nice clean lines. Or the line looks dotted. Also how much of these issues could be the airbrush tool.itself? I run a master G22/G25 gravity fed. Again thanks for this info.
Hey mate I’m really glad I found your videos I’ve been wanting to start airbrushing and your content is an amazing resource, I’m sure you get this question all the time but where is a good place to order an airbrush set up from? (Compressor, airbrush etc)
your videos are really great. have helped me a lot. can you maybe make a video on how to mix the right color from a template. from CMY or CMYK. I don't get it. no matter how i try i always get wrong color
Cool tutorials. Have enjoyed all your vids. One thing to ask is techniques for left handers. Naturally your brain wants to work from left to right but painting and writing left to right as a left handed gets tricky. Yeah I can try copy your techniques from the opposite direction but yeah it’s bending my head
Thank you and glad you enjoy my vids and find them helpful. The guy that actually taught me was a ‘left hander’ so I understand the difficulty of following along. 😱 Most things should be relatable, obviously practice exercises would be easier in reverse . The main thing is to keep practicing as much as possible and work on the basics fist, master them and then move onto the trickier art . Hope that helps 👍🏻
If it makes things easier for you, you can always set up a mirror so that you’re not actually looking at your screen but at a mirror, which would reflect things as the left-handed person were teaching you.
IAM wanting to weather my railway stock but not got a clue with the mix so I've bought everything but used it once then made a mistake then cleaned it all up put away never used it again lol 😂 any ideas what mix it should be?? Cheers Paul
Totally understand getting your paint mix right is definitely difficult, it all depends on brand of paint and what psi you have set. Feel free to check out this video which may help 👉🏻 ua-cam.com/video/Hj65ci3cjRs/v-deo.html
A lot of great exercises, one thing different though!! Instead of T shirt why not use paper towel roll? It is as close to shirt without fraction of cost.
Totally understand your frustration, you need to get your double action skill right so you don’t set yourself up for massive tip drying and once that’s sorted then you also need to get your paint mix right here are a few vids which should help ; Master Double Action - ua-cam.com/video/inZcoxkuylk/v-deo.html Tip Dry issues - ua-cam.com/video/Ee9vzSW7KD4/v-deo.html Paint mixing tips - ua-cam.com/video/Hj65ci3cjRs/v-deo.html Hope that helps 👍🏻

Suggested psi pressure ?
What is the best paint to use to practice without using your best model paint in the UK
Thanks
I was wondering the same thing
Which colour or medium should be used for airbrush?
So what do I do if I cant get a airbrush machine cleaner right now? I seen videos today where I can maybe just air the water out

Yes, great suggestion and you can definitely try that out . Thanks for sharing 😉
You can also use shop rags from home depot, they are made like a tshirt and are white as well.
I use scrapbook paper, mainly cause i needed absorbable paper with transparency to trace an image behind it
I think I want an Iwata airbrush with a M.A.C. valve just so I have some where comfortable to put my steadying hand 😂
🎈🎈👍👍😁😁🎈
"dollar stores" have that white board
It doesn't make any sense my airbrush just clogs right up with paint anytime I attempt to use it. What a tedious hobby my goodness
