I have screen shots of suggested retail price from a video that was on u tube of the FP MY 44. It shows that a 44 fully loaded with everything including the engine upgrades is only supposed to be about 780k us. Why is it that every FP dealer wants to quote around a million for a 40. I have no problem with someone making money but boat dealers are scumbags. Do they really have to profit over 300k for one boat. Total bullshit. After I raised hell with a dealer and showed the video with the pricing all of a sudden the video was edited and it was gone, but not before I screenshot it. I would be a buyer of this boat if I didn’t have to give some asshole lowlife dealer 300k for filling out a purchase contract. Fountaine Pajot better get their dealers under control.
Just shop around a little when you buy stuff, any stuff.

Can you share that screenshot? It would be good to have for negotiating. One video I saw on the 44 showed about $1 million with all upgrades, another actually was $1.4, same boat

One needs to remember that dealers tend to enjoy a profit margin of 30-38 %...any other merchant would be hanged from the nearest tree if this were more widely known.

We had chartered the MY37 last Summer and without the Aircon and a Generator it was pretty bad in South Croatia. Hopefully this one has it. But maybe of course the charter company didn't order the Aircon on purpose...
Any boat in the summer without aircon, is a big no no, for me atleast.
Next time you know wich one to charter, lesson learned.

Very nice. Would have some design questions for purchase. 1. Full Bridge Enclosure? 2. Grill option on Bridge? Bed Linens look messy for a boat this $$. No TV.s in cabins, assume this is optional. Salon is clostrophobic and tight looking. I would delete that single chair across from galley and option a folding stowable chair when necessary. Deleting this chair would really help to open up the salon. If bridge has enclosure option, can you delete the salon drive station and have more salon room? FP makes awesome yachts, the lines on this model are very nice.

They're expensive but the Wider 165 costs more than a similar sized Sunreef Catamaran so I don't know for sure.
