Please let us know how the turkey over night goes. I’m so curious. Also Rosie’s thumbs up was the cutest thing! She always seems like such a sweetheart.
Hello 🙂 So nice to watch your family and how you do things in your country. My name is Inger and I am a single mother to a 7 year old boy. Greetings from Norway 😍
Girl you need a roaster! I always use the roaster for the ham or turkey on the holidays so my oven is free for the sides. Or to keep burgers and hotdogs warm at birthday parties, etc. Roasters come in handy when you have a larger family. Sweet Rosie at the end. She melts my heart. So full of love! Enjoy your holiday 💟
You need to look into getting a second oven or one of those that is two small ovens in the place of one so that way you can have like 3. Too many people in that house for a single oven lol or at the very least investing in a Breville smart oven for the casseroles
The best part of the shopping haul is knowing that you treat yourself with some groceries makes me happy. May God continue to bless you and gives you strength. All love from here❤❤❤❤❤
YES ,I thought that too.Lots more ready to go foods which require little or no preparation. I found this in the Netherlands also.Come on New Zealand!!🤣
I love how Rosie loves to be a little homemaker! Perhaps Santa will bring her a new apron and an updated cleaning caddy with her own safe cleaning supplies? LOL God bless and Happy Thanksgiving!
You are amazing. I love your channel. I’m always amazed at how fresh and beautiful you look all the while taking care of your large family and farm. Wishing you all a blessed Thanksgiving.
Just a tip, as a garlic lover! This is the time to plant garlic bulbs for harvest next summer/fall. Hope you and your family have a lovely thanksgiving!
We also have a large family and will be serving a crowd for thanksgiving! Lol! I have gone to the store way too many times and still don’t have pecans for the sweet potato casserole... hope your family has a blessed thanksgiving!
All so good choices, yes over Night cooking for Turkey or Christmas Ham. Or Smoker we got too, my husband done that too. You are my favorite In Here! Thank You and Mucha Salud! Sending lots of love from Spain , Malaga - Costa Del Sol 🙌❤️
So interesting to see your thanksgiving preps, it must be lovely to wander round shops again too! I live in Ireland, and we are in another covid lockdown with all but essential shops open....have a great thanksgiving from the emerald isle xx
I know this is late but we would also cook over night then cut it up and put it in a casserole dish and make the gravy and pour it over the turkey.... cover with tin foil and a tea towel and aside and then warm up 10- 20 mins before... basically if you just keep it on the counter with tin foil over it and a tea towel is still warm by 2 or 3 when you are ready to eat. ... basically just a quick warm up before serving! 🦃 ❤️
Hi Angela!!! I think that if you don’t plan in getting a second oven you should try to get yourself a turkey electric pot. Mine only cost me like 40 dollars and it will cook your turkey perfectly and you will still have your stove oven free for everything else.
I live in Canada and while some of us cook our birds overnight, upside down, topside right, stuffed, or unstuffed many still cook their birds 20 min per pound at a reasonably higher temp. I think there is no one "right" way to cook a bird except to make sure you cooked the bird all the way through and that you enjoy it the way you prepare it.
We decided to make Thanksgiving a little easier a couple of years ago by ordering a smoked turkey and smoked ham from a local barbecue place. My husband heats them up in our electric smoker so I can bake all of the sides in the oven. I saw where someone even utilizes their crock pot for the stuffing.
Sounds like you’ve got a big beautiful family Thanksgiving. I’m planning things out like you and trying to figure out when I can cook ahead. There’s 7 of us but only 5 eaters (baby, and older child who is formula fed through gj tube) Beautiful family! Have a blessed Thanksgiving from us here in Georgia.
Thank you so much for being such amazing wonderful parents, a blessing to the world and sharing such a positive inspiring lifestyle this is what our world needs more families like yours. May God richly bless your beautiful family. Such a beautiful family ❤️ stay focus, trust your gut and follow your heart you are getting it right!! Ignore the static ❤️❤️❤️Big Blessings❤️❤️❤️
Oh the minced onions! You could make Dutch huspot! I just learned how and it is so good. My Dutch friend said it's best with turkey gravy. I like it with butter.
Nothing wrong wiv buying a pumpkin pie instead of making it. Nothing wrong wiv nice nails. It’s awesome seeing the kids play wiv the goat. Nothing wrong wiv a backup. We had a fresh 4 bird roast one Christmas and it took longer than expected.
My husband cooks our entire Thanksgiving dinner ❤❤❤ your organization sounds a lot like his. He always bakes his pies first. Everything is from scratch. Rosie is adorable and seems to love working indoors. Happy Thanksgiving great video 🥦🥨🥓🥐🍗🍖
Angela, hats off to you for your super efficient ways in multi tasking and managing the house with the help of CR and time to vlog as well . Most obvious is you look good all the time .
I love watching these videos as I find it so interesting to see what you guys eat! I’m from England and I always assumed that the American/ British diet is similar but watching these videos shows me it’s actually quite different. I’d love to sample some of these dishes ❤️
Turkey cooker cooks an amazing turkey and frees up the oven. ( Oster 18 Quart Silver Roaster with High Dome & Self-Basting LidI is $30 at Wal-Mart.) It's also come in handy for pot lucks, open houses, etc.
You can also cook your turkey the day before, slice it and put in aluminum foil pan. I pour a little chicken stock or broth on it before I reheat it on Thanksgiving. Saves a lot of time when you have a crowd.
We cook our turkey on the BBQ to keep the heat out of the house and to make room in the oven. Also, Jamie Oliver has a make ahead gravy starter that we have used now for years that is awesome!
Suggestion. Get a counter top roaster. I have a great one and use it every year, and then I never have to worry about taking up the time in my oven for all the sides. You can get one for like $50 and they hold big birds. We only use it once a year but it is totally worth it.
We found crockpot recipies for our dressing and mashed potatoes which saves tons of time and space. My mom also cooks her turkey ahead of time; she slices it and keeps it warming in a crockpot with some broth to stay moist. We never carve at the table so it's no big deal to have it sliced ahead of time. :) Happy Turkey Day to you and yours!
Everything you are planning on making sounds delicious! But it also sounds like a ton of work! I hope you don't stress too much and find time to enjoy this day with your family. Lots of love from Germany (where we don't celebrate Thanksgiving but I liked watching your video anyway)
You can do mash potatoes in the instant pot! Also, my grandma always cooked the turkey the day before then cut it and put it in a pan with juices and warmed it up before meal time.
You are definately my UA-cam idol! We moved to our dream home almost a year ago with 3 acres and our 4 horses, 2 dogs and a cat. You're videos are so inspiring, even in Ontario, Canada!
You should get one of those roasting oven, I cooked for parties and used those for parties, people loved the turkey, said it was one of the best they ever had. Moist was the best comment I would get. Just plug it in, have the oven all to your self, easy too...
Please let us know how the turkey over night goes. I’m so curious. Also Rosie’s thumbs up was the cutest thing! She always seems like such a sweetheart.
Sounds great. Enjoy and stay safe. Rosie is so cute. She likes helping around you.
Also the music is soooooo lovely

A low and slow cooked turkey is never dry. I've always done it that way..overnight for a big turkey.
The kiss nails are awesome and under $10 a pack!!
Aww sweet Rosie 🥰❤️ I just love her!!! Such a big helper 😉 Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving Braniff fam❤️❤️
Love your kitchen so pretty💕 Happy Thanksgiving!
Love this family
We do the overnight cook on the turkey. Ours is that pretty carve the turkey at the table but it does fall off the bone and is juicy!!!!
After I take my turkey out of the oven and wrap it up in foil, I put it in a cooler, it stays hot for hours!
When will you do a house toure or even like a farm/animal tour
She has done one
She has a house tour video. There may be a farm tour video somewhere on this gathered nest.
You can do mash potatoes in the instant pot!
Also, my grandma always cooked the turkey the day before then cut it and put it in a pan with juices and warmed it up before meal time.
Rose is so cute!!
You are definately my UA-cam idol! We moved to our dream home almost a year ago with 3 acres and our 4 horses, 2 dogs and a cat. You're videos are so inspiring, even in Ontario, Canada!
