ESO should have a practice 4 person dungeon, with 3 NPCs. The player choses the type to play, DPS, Heal or Tank and the NPCs fill in the rest, and have levels, where the NPC can either lead the dungeon, or the player leads. This way, a player can learn a role, without the fear of affecting any other players. We already have a decent companion system, and use that to build on this concept.
Eso should make a separate story mode for each dungeon that forces us to use three of our companions so people can actually take our time and do the quest without having people rush ahead
WoW implemented this for dungeons in its most recent expansion, and it wasn't perfect, but it was pretty great and solved this problem. Plus also gave a way to practice roles.
To the "rushing ahead" absolutely agree, I like to read through and enjoy the quest / dialogue, it has gotten really bad with people racing / grinding dungeons ? Just take two friends or one friend and two companions and you'll be good on most of the normal mode dungeons. People wanting to rush and farm transmutes should still be allowed to rush and farm.
they should add a new system where you give your other companions u don’t really use kind of a quest for them to do for u like gather mats or put them in quest where they will unlock waypoints in a certain zone map but give it like a really long timer so it would feel like they’re really going on an adventure on their own unlocking waypoints for u on ur map and the timer would stretch depends on how far u are from that certain zone. just an idea:3 They should also add a different options for make ups. rather than putting scars, tattoos and make ups in a same option so the options isn’t limited..

I have this wild idea for consideration. Currently in the Champion system, we can 'plug' in 4 nodes to activate the relevant perks for each of the 3 categories. So, building on this design, currently each gear set has 5 perks which we can activate based on how many pieces we equip. Why not just put these gear set attribute as "attribute node drop" (instead of gear set piece drop) which we can then customize and 'plug' in to our new Gear (Champion-like) system to activate the set of 5 perks on our gear. There is will no fixed set to speak and we can combine various perks to form our unique gear set. The principle is same as scribing which customize skill now it is customizing set gear perks. If they implement this, the set collection will be render useless (which is kinda sad). However, they can reuse the set collection for us to "collect" and store our furniture piece. Salvage the set collection features and reuse them for furniture pieces. It will be win-win as they can implement 2 new features without adding new computation and resource requirement into the game.
Maybe companions will come as reward with event tickets quarter 4. Buy the fragments to morph into one or both companions. With all the events towards the end of the year and with the New Life festival I never know what to do with all the tickets 😂
One feature I’d like to see added is some sort of chronological story guide, something like „Quest Guide” Addon. It would really help new, more casual players that like questing understand the story and don’t feel overwhelmed with all the prologue, side, guild, dlc quests. Also a return of og base game prologue quest
(most of these comments, are not even answering your question.) but I will. The new companions will have a romance quest.💘 And if I’m being overly optimistic, I would say more customizations for them as well, like headgear.
Not gonna lie, what drove me away from ESO, wasn't the massive world and stuff to do, but the shitty system on undaunted caches to get monster shoulders, I was daily engaged but never got what I wanted, feeling like I was pursuing a carrot on a stick, my time was more worty in another game, i'm trying to get back now, but i'm afraid that the same will happen.
The newest update will fix that problem! They're adding undaunted coffers to the "set curation" system, which basically means that loot sources prioritize dropping set pieces that you haven't collected yet.
I do feel like Companions are useless. You really have to stack them into max health and the 5 skills they have. But they will die. I mean they won't get out of an aoe. Can't block a heavy attack and are extremely limited on how to set them up. ( for me I would like more options ) We also need to stop putting more sets into eso. And just alter the existing sets each update. Or atleast consolidate them in some way. The older sets are pretty much useless in most occasions and don't find there way into most builds. So fix them
You’re a barbarian build made it just done on me but the next companions don’t necessarily have to be the classes we have. A scribe-based character or vamp/werewolf is on the table too.
I really do hope they do teach players how to play this game I had to learn the hard way. That being said I hope theirs a tool tip on how to become role models like teaching players how to tank, or heal, and or dps. Their should also be a thing where the game tells people about the guild stores and how to utilize that feature.
@@Kieran.Robertson IDK, World of Warcraft has had 10v10 BGs for years and years. Queue times for BGs in WoW aren't always super ultra fast or slow, at least back when I was playing, but I could easily imagine people in ESO getting way into this sort of PvP content. This is my concept: players are "time magicked" to engage in a reenactment of some historical battle in Elder Scrolls lore, prior to (or perhaps current to) the events of ESO (three banners war period of the 2nd era). This would make it appealing to lore afficionados, and would also allow for fights outside of, and not pertaining to the conventional faction/alliance war, and have teams of mixed Dominion, Pact, and Covenant players (just like in regular BGs). Imagine engaging in a reenactment of battles such as: Altmer vs Maomer, Ayleids vs Alessians, Akaviri vs Nords, or possibly even Dunmer vs Dwemer. There are lots of possibilities. You'd queue up, and then you and people who are in your group -- if you're grouped up -- would be randomly assigned to a team. Your characters could potentially be reskinned for the duration of the match so that you have the appropriate appearance of what you're supposed to be portraying.
A new class for ESO would be great. I am thinking about a class like the Blackguard. A Paladin but only evil. More an Antihero type. Powers and abilities would be aligned with Daedra.
I really wish they would add some companions to the base game. Specifically alliance companions. Ideally one for each race, but at this point one for each alliance would be fine.
They need to make the game challenging again, I breezed through this game, basically naked. Used to fear high-level zones, now you can beat this games zones afk.
An NPC party for dungeons would contradict the idea of ESO being a multiplayer game. But let's be honest: many of us enjoy playing solo anyway. I'd love it.
I really wish we would get cross save and play already, i just want to play on pc without having to start over and lose all the stuff on my account over years
Outside of roleplaying( which I'm not hating on ) companions are only viable in overland content, which for most players, don't need that hand holding. I would like to be able to farm some newer dungeons with a companion but the controls are sub par, sure I can pull my tank out of aoe but it's very cumbersome. pve and pvp NEED to be separated, and tooltips adjusted accordingly, Think of an armoury loudout but for skills depending on content. Combat has been slowed waaaaaay down to suit new players and the game has become very hand holdy imo
Companions is the place where the game can progress the most. I would rewrite the Guild Wars 1 (one) system. It would bring a lot of fun to the players, and a lot of money to the owners. In general, a lot of things can be rewritten from GW 1, for example a separate server for PvP and PvE, different values of the same skill for PvP and PvE and much more.
Why don’t we have boats or water mounts and flying mounts an broomsticks? magic scrolls like they had in Skyrim. New fight animations. Capability to rock climb or scale buildings. Make hand to hand combat a skill line. We should be able to jump higher when coming out of water I can never jump onto the dock I always have to go around if I fall in… Should be able to roommate and move in with players maybe even develop player relationships and npc relationships. I do wish there were some zones full of waves you can smash through every enemy you have to spam the attack buttons to lower a health bar it gets old:( give us the capability to wear chest-plates but hide them at the equipment table… Cant walk around shirtless unless you have no armor on
Anyone want to continue to deny cross devlopment between the ESO team and Fallout76 team with the introduction of the new housing feaures and the best builds feature in 76 . This goes back years to when Bethesda was acquired and features started appearing in parallel
Two new companions and only 1 unused class. Getting a necro companion seems likely. Companions could start getting entirely new classes/abilities….but probably not. The second companion will probably be an existing class with different abilities. But getting something like Lyris would be cool.
Hopefully the new PVP update won't be the devs stealing already existing add-on codes to just give to console players which seem to be going down in population every time I log in to see...
I always check in on ESO once or twice a year to see if they plan on making the world content more challenging because its literally the only thing that would get me back into the game lol Oh well. Great video tho
I bought the game, created an account, completed tutorial and got out to the overland. Didnt log in again for 2 years. Finally decided to learn the game and after hours of yt videos i finally understand 5 months in.
New and old veteran dungeons mechanic tutorials would be great, especially for new and returning players, rely on youtube guides on how to conplete dungeons shouldnt be required imo

I'm not sure what the PvP update could be if it's not cyrodill related. Maybe huge combat overhaul for PvP only ? Or a new mode of PvP. Them are the only two things O can think of

M’aiq wonders if I will truly be in the game and not elsweyr, M’aiq could only record a few lines of dialogue.
Same!
The newest update will fix that problem! They're adding undaunted coffers to the "set curation" system, which basically means that loot sources prioritize dropping set pieces that you haven't collected yet.
It will be nice to have a new station table for deconstruct furniture, and new daily quest to built furniture.
Pacrooti as a companion would be awesome 😊
I do feel like Companions are useless. You really have to stack them into max health and the 5 skills they have. But they will die. I mean they won't get out of an aoe. Can't block a heavy attack and are extremely limited on how to set them up. ( for me I would like more options )
We also need to stop putting more sets into eso.
Vampire and werewolf companion please
I really do hope they do teach players how to play this game I had to learn the hard way. That being said I hope theirs a tool tip on how to become role models like teaching players how to tank, or heal, and or dps. Their should also be a thing where the game tells people about the guild stores and how to utilize that feature.
Yes 👍🏾
I hope the new companions have good passives. More Azandars, fewer Bastians.
I think that there should be a 10 versus 10 battleground
I think the queue would be too long for 10v10, maybe 6v6 would be better since current BGs have 12 players max
I like this idea, ball group I mean like trial type stuff the mode would be suitable for this. Could ignite more team stuff than all the solo stuff.
The new companions were delayed because the Companion Union was negotiating a pay increase. They worked out a deal 🤣🤣
Need a playable goblin race.
i would love a dremora companion like Lyranth, i always liked the Daedric races, they're really interesting
opt-in in overland pvp mode. but attacking someone near a guard would be like attacking an npc and they'd come after you
I like the idea of training guides for dungeon groups. I literally still have Pick up Group PTSD from years of World of Warcraft.
A new class for ESO would be great. I am thinking about a class like the Blackguard. A Paladin but only evil. More an Antihero type. Powers and abilities would be aligned with Daedra.
Daedra is already the sorcerer’s thing
@@Kieran.Robertson I am talking about having powers a kin to Daedra. Daedra's powers and abilities vary depending on the type of Daedra.
@@williamhammond9090 Yes sorcerers already have powers akin to daedra
@@Kieran.Robertson Ok, well there goes that Idea. I was suggestion a type of anti-hero class. A Blackguard is an evil version of a Paladin.
I really wish they would add some companions to the base game. Specifically alliance companions. Ideally one for each race, but at this point one for each alliance would be fine.
Khamira as a companion?! Imagine that NPC marrige need to arrive along side it if it happens
Yeah Marrying them like Skyrim would be awesome way better then marrying a Player tbh 👍🏾
stickerbook furniture for housing would be nice
We need a new class
Based On gold road abilities
They need to make the game challenging again, I breezed through this game, basically naked.
Used to fear high-level zones, now you can beat this games zones afk.
An NPC party for dungeons would contradict the idea of ESO being a multiplayer game. But let's be honest: many of us enjoy playing solo anyway. I'd love it.
I really wish we would get cross save and play already, i just want to play on pc without having to start over and lose all the stuff on my account over years
2:18 anyone know what sets are being used in this clip, blue effect around player character and large ring centered around them?

@@HackTheMinotaur tyvm, love your videos!
There should be a special "beginner" mode dungeon experience because too many noobs get terrible PUG teams that discourage them.
They are doing more anniversary content? Even though we had an anniversary event months ago? I don't actually remember what month ESO came out...
Rich's New System: Level Boost Token in Crown store (6000 crowns)
I do wish there were some zones full of waves you can smash through every enemy you have to spam the attack buttons to lower a health bar it gets old:( give us the capability to wear chest-plates but hide them at the equipment table… Cant walk around shirtless unless you have no armor on
Razum- Dar companion would be sweet.
I really hope we get a necromancer companion
ESO 2024 list: Drive Traders out of business and ruin the economy - check!
New and old veteran dungeons mechanic tutorials would be great, especially for new and returning players, rely on youtube guides on how to conplete dungeons shouldnt be required imo
I want more 3p sets with cool effects that I can use with mythics
A Dremora as a Companion would be sick 👍🏾 having a romantic relationship with them would be cool i guess lol or any other Companion i don’t care lol any other Daedra just anything 😂 nah really i hope they do add a romantic option it’s about time it happens they also need more customizations start with letting them have helmets on hoods and that it would make them look cooler in my opinion would be nice to change their face looks and that so much more can be added for the Companions so much a lot of facts you said in this video 👍🏾💯
One of the new companions will be a necro, mannimarcos redemption maybe?
Companions are only good for world pve, you don't usually use them in trials/dungeons, or in pvp. Only good for new characters as a backup help
SO excited for the two new companions. So weird that they waited so long to drop the companions.
Maybe the new companions have something to do with the new pvp feature and that's why they r coming out at the same time
I'm not sure what the PvP update could be if it's not cyrodill related. Maybe huge combat overhaul for PvP only ? Or a new mode of PvP. Them are the only two things O can think of
@@AdamLAD Get ready for duel finder lol
Pvp drastically needs an entire overhaul
They should develop the possibility to migrate chars to another server, and bind the itens to the account, not to the server.
I would love to see a companion who is a vampire
Can we please have a wood elf stam nightblade or vampire nightblade build? 😢
I just want Cross save... I have been playing since launch on Xbox and spent a few thousand dollars on the game but left it all on Xbox since I moved to PC... I just want to play ESO again I miss it.
if they add ranked pvp I will start to play this game :P
My guess is a necro companion that is actually better than the class itself.
Wish there was a vampire and werewolf companion
They said the pvp update would not be cyrodiil related
Devs have stated that the pvp update would not be Cyro related.
They just need to remove the transmutes for running random normal dungeons so new players can actually learn group play in the normal non-vet dungeons.
Now people can't learn anything because there are all those 2000+ CP speed running transmute farmers soloing the place. Transmutes don't even matter until after CP160 and by then you should be able to run a dungeon on vet.
@@elderwiz3165 but the the ques would literally take forever and then those people would give ZOS bad publicity by saying it's a "dead game". I didn't see ZOS changing that.
@@MikeBeltMikeBelt Not at all. Before they had transmutes, the queue was fine and there were no speed runners in the normal randoms. Just newbies trying to learn.
Amazing would be to transform our campanions into vampires and werewolves and turn them back to humans. Also, the nerfs on the patchs is really bad. They have so far, lack of will to separete those who plays in pvp and pve.
It's been 10 years and they only added three classes wow
Overland difficulty would be nice :(
7:30 like can we play tutorial when we skip him when we create character, i rly wish to get that 1 skill point ;D
I'm looking forward to having a male orc companion
We should be able que up for trails. I still haven't done 1
You just the type of gamer that needs your hand held at every corner so you don't ever have to be social because it's traumatizing for you.
@@clarksmith494 wow lol
There will probably be a necromancer companion
I want Caska as a companion but they said a flat-out no. Because all companions have to be humanoids.
Please, please, please let one of the companions be Lyranth!
I hope glass making gets put in, update thiefs as it stands the DLC's add so little it is better to go fishing than sneak around and swipe things we have thief's guild not a fishing guild after all.
my guess is pvp specific companions
God I hope not.
Still hoping for a romance option.
I stopped playing it a while ago and probably will not play again.
Even without scribing identifying the opponent's spell was hard, now its impossible.
I heard 2h barbarian build can i get a link?
