Something I noticed that's very interesting regarding most of the new hyundais, their final assembly point is actually Ulsan Korea. NOT Georgia where all of the problems have been in the past. So they're literally assembling them in Korea at the main factory and then shipping them over to North America fully assembled.
@@KennyboyGM it might depend on the one that you are getting I'm in California and all of the ones that are coming in here are coming directly out of Korea.
@@jackmemphis777 that's not what I'm talking about. We've got non N line 2025s not being assembled in the USA at all. Only Korea and now shipped over fully assembled.
A few months ago I was between the Sonata, Elantra and the Camry. Ended up going Elantra N-line. The Elantra looks and drives the best imo, but the mid size sedans are a little more comfy
I loved everything about this video. I’m getting ready to make a purchase and I needed to hear every word you said. lol What’s funny is I have always wanted to be an Altima girly 🤭
@BenHardyCars how far does the second dealership have to be for the comparison because over here the toyota and honda dealership are at opposite sites like around 12 to 15 mins far from each other.
Damn , just find someone how can design a clean looking car that will not age soooo fast. This is just way too busy, edgy and not good looking . Is it CVT with same engine as Kia K4 ? Than is has the same torque as my 22 yrs old Mazda Protege from the same displacement and Protege was like 400lbs lighter all 22 yrs ago!
The rear is fine. The steering wheel is unique and cool. Its powertrain is uninspiring, but it is better than most of its direct competition. Had a friend choose between base Civic, base Corolla, and base Elantra. He fell in love with the Elantra within minutes and bought the car that day. He said it was way more fun to drive than the others.

This car is assembled in Mexico

The N and N-line have always been made in Korea

@@PatrickC139 yeah ik what you are saying and it's great to hear that the non N cars are also being assembled in Korea now
Elantra for the past 2 generations has looked better than it's big bro, Sonata.
The new sonata is a monster. Inside and out. 😂

i think they both look really good
The Sonata vs the k5 would be a fun comparison.
So, basically my car (2024) but with the only one feature I hate fixed. The signal lights are where they should and not all the way down.
Great review Ben.
Love the review.
Hyundai elantra is a fantastic car
Does it come with a spare tire? And does it have blind spot control on the side view mirrors
No on the spare, yes on blind spot on HEV (previously Limited) I have the Hybrid version, getting over 50mpg average.
Rear end not a fan but I like that 2.0 in my forte nice rewew brother 👍
You should get a Elantra HEV for a review.

I would love a elantra and k4 comparison or sonata and k5 if the latter two are still available there
Compare the sonata and k5 please
Hyundai has come along way since the 90s.
You forgot to mention that this 2025 Elantra trim has 64 color ambient lighting.
Really?
@gcshowtime1641 Yes, really. Look it up on Hyundai website.
Is this preferred with tech package?
3 minutes in and I'm done. In that time, you've pointed out several things without the slightest explanation of what they are.
Immediately didn't specify if it's the base model or higher ones.
K4 vs Elantra Preferred Tech
any difference with 2024 trim?
Can you do a Kia k 5 2025 vs this Hyundai
Do the Kia k5 and this car have the same manufacturer lol because they kind of look alike
nissan and toyota helped hyundai around 2002
hi, whats the sound system in 2025 preferred tech?
Is it easy to get permission to compare two cars
Yes
@@BenHardyCars ok thank you so much. I love the elantra specially the price it comes in.

@jackmemphis777 bro I asked if I wanted to start a car review channel for that. For personal use I definitely test drive before buying.
Kia Sportage
Good test. But “dirt cheap”? Hardly.
Unfortunately in today's market, it's really cheap for a new car that's this stylish
@ I suppose you are right.
So weird seeing that intro with a car.
Hope it's not so easily stolen like previous versions.
The problem came from the key starts without the immobilizer
@@weirdcommenter4956 Oh okay, so has it been confirmed fixed, or are Hyundai's continuously going to be the most stolen vehicles in America
@@weirdcommenter4956 now it has immobilizers

the car has gotten way..... to big.
Cant get past the hideous rear end, ugly steering wheel, and the boring uninspiring power train.
The 2.0 is slow. The N-line is plenty quick though
