The '69 Boss 302 didn't have that hood air scoop. Either an incorrect air scoop was added to a '69 Boss (sacrilege) or this car is most likely a '69 Mustang sports roof, or possibly a '69 Mach 1. The VIN would tell the story. Nice looking and sounding car though.
@@Mike583 The badging says it is a Boss 302 but I checked the mustclecarsforsaleinc.com web site and they list it as a 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback, not a Boss. The dealer also says that it has a 302 engine but there was a big difference between the standard 302 and the Boss 302 engines. If you look at the video at 0:28 it looks like the inside of the hood is actually cut out with a hole for the air scoop. However, you are correct; even if the air scoop is functional that scoop would have been on either the Mustangs with a 351 or 390. That style of scoop was not used for the 302's. I believe most '69 Boss 302's had no hood scoop, but if they did it was usually a shaker scoop. However, the "shakers" were more prevalent on the 1970 Bosses. It appears that this car would be best described as a Boss 302 "Tribute".
Right you are. Today an authentic '69 Boss 302 in mint condition would probably start at around $80,000 and might go up to about $120,000 to $150,000 depending on mileage and condition.
One of the best looking cars ever made, and it sounds ready to run.
"today we're featuring Callie, and oh yeah, this car behind me"
Damn, she looks great in shorts! Wow
Come on say it, say it, you know you want to, YES! So much fun to drive.
Beautiful! And the mustang looks nice too! 🥰
The driving shots inside are the best! Thank you! Longer would be great! ;-)
Once again left speechless both u and the car...amazing 👏 😘👍

I believe this is the non functional scoop that the 351 & maybe 390's had.

Agree. The BOSS 302 stripe is dead wrong on this car. Otherwise a bitchin car.
Thought Boss valve covers were different in shape.
@@stick9648 correct, Boss heads were larger by design
