⚡ 1. You need cameras at eye level for every entrance with a door (on the opposite wall, looking straight forward) 2. You need to check the footage from the previous nights, even if you didn't get a notification (for the last 2 weeks at least), and see if someone already tried and/or checked the door/RFID reader. RFID skimming is a real thing, and often you don't even know your RFID key/card was cloned. 3. You need to drastically limit the view people have from outside. Maybe by adding a second door between the lobby and the rest of the unit. 4. You could add a strong light, activated by sound and movements, aimed at the outside, and armed when nobody is in the studio.
iDK security cameras are expinseve. Also the more cameras they put up the more complicated the system gets. Which will make it harder to find clips they need.
@@tlp4164 They are working on changing from Nest footage to a better system. They are gona have better security and honestly, it's not surprising. If nothing else and I know it's a hassle and annoyance, but I would put upwards going ''bars'' on the windows as an extra security measure. We do it here in finland on stores etc just incase so even if someone broke a window, they could not get in. As for cameras, just get one that has a sensor light underneath it so when someone walks past said camera, it lights up the area. (For cameras that are inside only)
@@tlp4164 It's more about prevention, and make people think twice before doing something bad. It doesn't add complexity. Having cameras at eye level is the best way to catch a face and/or scare the ones that are not courageous enough to say : f.... it, I'm going in, by showing it to their face. The majority of criminals will take the easiest route...and move to their next target if they're slowed down too much or if they think it's too much of a pain to break in. Placing fake cameras is a possibility too

It's most likely that it waa someone who either used to work at Hi5 or used that unit because so random person would try to use some fob they bought and expect it to work, and they must have thought to would work because they got mad. (Btw I havent seen the other vids yet I'm very behind)
my theory: whoever put the stuff in the walls and vents etc. has more hidden stuff in the base somewhere. i think they have been keeping tabs on Matt and friends through their youtube videos and saw that they were figuring things out. I agree with woods i think is that maybe the person trying to get in is the previous owner of the unit. Kevin said they had the same key phobs. They would have been the ones to leave the safe and the 863 key which were both found in blue base. I’ve been with this series and the channel for a long while now. ⚠️ Recommendation: have Woods stand out there then have someone who is 6 feet out there, try to measure out where that guy’s height is based on that so you can be on the lookout during the day if someone seems suspicious. 🚨Since they couldn’t get there at night, the next option is to go during the day, which in turn makes it more dangerous for Hi5 employees. Another recommendation: EVERYONE knows the safe and other pieces to this series (car/safe) is inside Hi5-DONT take it home, but put it in the bank safety box (I say this because they can stake out Hi5 and follow someone home, thus putting them and their family at risk). If they know it’s not there (if they watch your vids) then they won’t attempt another break-in. Also, I would re-issue key fob codes since they seem to have hacked or are guessing the numbers. They may try again with a new fob number. You’ve been wanting to do a revamp for a new security system and NEST isn’t up to par. You definitely need higher quality cams. I’m just a subscriber, but I care about the safety of Hi5 staff. Willing to contribute to a new camera system. I am so sorry if this made you more scared but Please be safe all‼️

Theory: i commented on the storage locker videos a lot of those items seemed like someone was running an illegal operation from that unit with weird amounts of jordans and expensive items that generally are copped and sold.
Hear me out- previous owners are watching the key series and found out that Matt found their safe. Kevin said that the previous residents had the same security system with different codes.
The guy probably used to work at this building and was trying his old key to get inside and retrieve the 863 key, the box of keys in the wall, or the safe or all of them but he was mad when the key didn’t work since the system was wiped by Kevin after they moved into the facility.
If you want new security cameras, I would recommend the Arlo cameras. We use them and they are great! They have night vision, color, sound, and you get notifications and everything.
Matt:finds a key, two years later-finds more keys and a car. Also Matt: random person try’s to break in. ”nothing this creepy has ever happened to me before” Me:”did u forget something” 😂

My Theory: That person who tried to break in probably wanted either two things: 1) The new stuff Matt is getting for Mega desk. The person probably saw all the new equipment Matt was getting and wanted to possibly take some of it. 2) The person is the owner of the new safe and owner of the Mountaineer car. The person could know what's in the new safe and needs to steal it back because there is probably something bad inside. Plus, since the person was there, he could have also stole back the key to the Mountaineer car because what if there is something bad in the car as well. The person can also be the owner of all the keys in the wall and know what each of them goes to. Think about it: The person only targeted Blue Base(that we know of) and not the other bases The person got aggressive and upset over the fact that they couldn't get it. What are things that set Blue Base apart from the different bases: Mega Desk, and the safes! (and you know... the nerf guns, and most of their offices are in there, but that's beside the point)
But if he knew that there was something bad in the safe and the car, then why would he get angry and very aggressive when he wasn’t able to enter the studio?
@@brianorozco1074 He would get angry because he realized that he couldn't get it and that is the only kinda not safe way, but probably the safest way to retrieve it by using the key thing that he had. He probably didn't know that there was a camera inside or outside, and if he did, then he probably didn't care because most of his face was covered.
My guess is that this isn't really related to the car but they probably watch your videos to try to break in. I know everyone wants it to be related but I don't think so. Also please be careful and stay safe!

It’s not scripted. It’s gone way too far at this point for it to be scripted. Matt wouldn’t have went to the DMV about the car and they wouldn’t have purposely put the safe over the vent and make themselves hot. They also probably wouldn’t have gone through all of the trouble of putting the safe in the wall and then breaking the wall just to replace it again

too many other fingerprints probably on that surface, like they said they can't really do anything and if cops did identify a fingerprint anyways they won't tell them their name as they haven't committed a crime so its very private.
Okay can I just say......fingerprints mean absolutely nothing unless that person has had his/her/etc’s fingerprints put into the system previously? Like I have never had my fingerprints taken, so if I committed a crime and left them no one would be able to trace them back to me. That being said there is technology now that can actually match fingerprints taken from a crime scene to fingerprints from a photo of the person’s hand, so we are getting closer...but fingerprints don’t mean squat most the time

Buddy, there exists no reality where a fan or anyone friendly shows up at 10:30 PM, covered head to toe in clothes to make sure nobody can identify them, with latex gloves to prevent fingerprints. The keyfob was likely some sort of self proclaimed "Factory Reset" or "Universal" electric fob, which obviously and thankfully didn't work because those would be massive security risks if they did. It also may have been a keyfob for the last residents security system.

i 100% agree with woods on this. since no one has ever tried to break in and it just happened AFTER you uploaded a video about a safe in the ceiling, finding an abandoned car, etc. i don’t think it’s a coincidence at this point, they all have to have something connecting each other. i am a kind of person who tries to make exuses for everything and ties the dumbest things together but it all lines up way too well for all of these separate things to be a “coincidence”

Yes these key fobs are very common. My church has the exact same ones and I just got my own. Before I got mine activated I could beep the door but it would stay red. Every once and a while if I beep it, it beeps it at me like crazy

For the record and anybody who's confused: The guy was wearing a dark leather/pleather jacket, a light colored hoodie(white, gray, etc.), a billed hat(lighter than the hoodie), dark colored jeans(black, blue), and probably sneakers. He appears to be approximately between 5'8" and 6'. Use this if you need a reference to the guy's outfit for any theories or didn't get a good look!
i would say its a grey hoodie and a white hat because the hat is lighter than the hoodie. also black jeans because they are the same color as the jacket. also they know where the cameras are because he covered the fob from the camera (so i assume something on his key fob/ key chain is distinctive) he also kept his bead angled down so his face wasn't seen by the inside camera so either he has scoped the place out before/ watched your videos or he worked/works there

Hear me out- previous owners are watching the key series and found out that Matt found their safe. Kevin said that the previous residents had the same security system with different codes.

The guy probably used to work at this building and was trying his old key to get inside and retrieve the 863 key, the box of keys in the wall, or the safe or all of them but he was mad when the key didn’t work since the system was wiped by Kevin after they moved into the facility.

If you want new security cameras, I would recommend the Arlo cameras. We use them and they are great! They have night vision, color, sound, and you get notifications and everything.

My Theory: That person who tried to break in probably wanted either two things: 1) The new stuff Matt is getting for Mega desk. The person probably saw all the new equipment Matt was getting and wanted to possibly take some of it. 2) The person is the owner of the new safe and owner of the Mountaineer car. The person could know what's in the new safe and needs to steal it back because there is probably something bad inside. Plus, since the person was there, he could have also stole back the key to the Mountaineer car because what if there is something bad in the car as well. The person can also be the owner of all the keys in the wall and know what each of them goes to.
Think about it: The person only targeted Blue Base(that we know of) and not the other bases
The person got aggressive and upset over the fact that they couldn't get it.
What are things that set Blue Base apart from the different bases: Mega Desk, and the safes! (and you know... the nerf guns, and most of their offices are in there, but that's beside the point)

@@brianorozco1074 He would get angry because he realized that he couldn't get it and that is the only kinda not safe way, but probably the safest way to retrieve it by using the key thing that he had. He probably didn't know that there was a camera inside or outside, and if he did, then he probably didn't care because most of his face was covered.
My guess is that this isn't really related to the car but they probably watch your videos to try to break in. I know everyone wants it to be related but I don't think so. Also please be careful and stay safe!

It’s not scripted. It’s gone way too far at this point for it to be scripted. Matt wouldn’t have went to the DMV about the car and they wouldn’t have purposely put the safe over the vent and make themselves hot. They also probably wouldn’t have gone through all of the trouble of putting the safe in the wall and then breaking the wall just to replace it again

Okay can I just say......fingerprints mean absolutely nothing unless that person has had his/her/etc’s fingerprints put into the system previously? Like I have never had my fingerprints taken, so if I committed a crime and left them no one would be able to trace them back to me. That being said there is technology now that can actually match fingerprints taken from a crime scene to fingerprints from a photo of the person’s hand, so we are getting closer...but fingerprints don’t mean squat most the time

I’m currently in the middle of rewatching the series, but what Matt said about don’t come here made me think, because I feel like one day someone’s gonna have an interview nearby or some other reason, but then someones gonna see them come to the door and call security
Hear me out, this could be one of the old employees that had something to do with all of the key things. Kevin said that he wiped all of the old key fob codes, which would make sense why he thought it would work. So he might have been trying to get something that has to do with the keys.
They also might have been doing it because you guys are getting really close to uncovering something and they are trying to stop you.

Buddy, there exists no reality where a fan or anyone friendly shows up at 10:30 PM, covered head to toe in clothes to make sure nobody can identify them, with latex gloves to prevent fingerprints. The keyfob was likely some sort of self proclaimed "Factory Reset" or "Universal" electric fob, which obviously and thankfully didn't work because those would be massive security risks if they did. It also may have been a keyfob for the last residents security system.
There’s no way this isnt connected, only way it wouldn’t technically be connected is if it’s someone doing it to scare you guys, to make u believe it’s connected. But I feel like it has to be. You said it yourself Matt, nothing like this ever happens.

i 100% agree with woods on this. since no one has ever tried to break in and it just happened AFTER you uploaded a video about a safe in the ceiling, finding an abandoned car, etc. i don’t think it’s a coincidence at this point, they all have to have something connecting each other.
i am a kind of person who tries to make exuses for everything and ties the dumbest things together but it all lines up way too well for all of these separate things to be a “coincidence”

This is a long explanitation but i have a theory,Kevin said the key phob was there before you guys owned it.Then he said he erased every past other key phobs and put you guys key phobs in.So my theory is the key phob wouldn't have beeped if it wasn't correct,therefor it could have been the right key phob but since kevin wiped all the past key phobs they had no information of the old owners and conformations that it was someone who was allowed in there or worked there so they couldn't get in.But it was the correct one or else it wouldn't have beeped like it was accepted.I also think it could be connected to what the redit comment said about the chop shop and the owner of the car.They could have been trying to come for all the old keys,and safes that you guys found.
Yes these key fobs are very common. My church has the exact same ones and I just got my own. Before I got mine activated I could beep the door but it would stay red. Every once and a while if I beep it, it beeps it at me like crazy

He stumbled across the channel and saw that Hi5 has gotten too close to whatever he’s trying to hide so he decided to come take the keys/safes back but tried to break in when he realized his fob didn’t work anymore
Kevin said the system was already in place when you moved in. So.... was this the former owner who hid all the keys, safe, and whose vehicle it is hoping Kevin didn't clear the key and this way he would get access to get all his possessions back without a breaking and entering charge because he knows your close to getting possession of the vehicle.

For the record and anybody who's confused: The guy was wearing a dark leather/pleather jacket, a light colored hoodie(white, gray, etc.), a billed hat(lighter than the hoodie), dark colored jeans(black, blue), and probably sneakers. He appears to be approximately between 5'8" and 6'. Use this if you need a reference to the guy's outfit for any theories or didn't get a good look!

i would say its a grey hoodie and a white hat because the hat is lighter than the hoodie. also black jeans because they are the same color as the jacket. also they know where the cameras are because he covered the fob from the camera (so i assume something on his key fob/ key chain is distinctive) he also kept his bead angled down so his face wasn't seen by the inside camera so either he has scoped the place out before/ watched your videos or he worked/works there
