They have a song called Whalien 52 that is about a real whale that sings at 52 hertz, much higher than any other whale in the world. It's literally the only whale in existence that sings at that hertz, so he sings alone.. It has been called the loneliest whale in the world because of that.

BigHit struck gold the day they chose these guys, the chances of getting 7 such multi-talented men in one group, who remain just as humble as they were when they started, must be astronomical.

This song makes me so emotional. I spent my entire 20s with BTS. I’m 30 now, and we are on chapter 2. Crazy to think 10 years has already passed. What’s amazing is that they’ve all chosen to enlist this year (aside from Jin last Nov). Half of them could have enjoyed a bit more of their 20s and then gone in a few years. But their dedication to ARMY and BTS is a beautiful thing to be a part of. Miss them a lot but there is always light!

Amazing Knox thank you!! Interesting to note that Suga switches to polite form in some of his verse where he directly addressing ARMY. This is quite big deal in Korean speech. Usually he writes lyrics in a sort of diary form. This way is much more poignant and if you were a Korean speaker it would jump up out at you and feel so much more personal. It’s always good to note the small things like that for international ARMY 💜💜

Something that caught my attention was the lyrics about the whale, and sea and desert because BTS has a hidden track called Sea and another one about a whale called Whalien 52. The details are always *chef’s kiss*. I hope you can listen to Whalien 52, another BTS song which is where the whale lyric comes from. The lyricism is so so good in that. RM, Suga and J-Hope are the songwriters and mixers here. Suga and El Capitxn produced 💜
I agree whit you for the blending part. There so unique and versatile individually but when they’re together they give themselves to the song and to the group so that the music can be cohesive. Nothing and no one feels out of place in their songs, the placement is there for a reason.
That’s also why I think it’s hard for other groups to cover their songs. Each part is given to a member for a specific reason, not just randomly distributed amongst them. There is a harmony.
V and Jin voices the best

So appreciative of your admiration for the guys and their talent. This song just brings tears to my eyes. Interestingly I was watching Bon Voyage Season 1 for the first time this week- I just finished the last episode and omg the letter that PD Bang wrote to them about how he was hard on them but they were even more dedicated than he could have imagined and where they were in 2016 and where they were headed in their careers was more than he could ever hope for etc. and look at them NOW! No one had any idea … this is magic and you can’t tell me otherwise.
