We forget of the great Gunther Arcanus
Hunters would be a good roll for necromancer too, just for the asthetic. Go survival and choose to use some kind of fitting staff, polearm or even sword. There are plenty of diseased hunter pets to choose from as well. With the right transmog you can definetly pull this off.
I love your videos, as a new WoW player having heard so much about it, I started playing for the lore and the diverse options for rolplaying through race & class combos.
One of my characters is a Goblin Hunter, and while I found your goblin shaman guide useful for getting my head around goblin business interactions with forces of the environment, I am still curious to know how it would look for rolplaying. Thanks!
Thank you Aura, I've missed the RP tips on the classes and races of WOW you make. Think you can make a Draenei Mage combo vid next time. I've got a friend whose going to be playing WOW for the first time ever soon and wants to do a Draenei Mage but also wants to stay true to it's lore and role play possibilities and such.
One thing I would say is that, while it is true that Draenei are VERY defined by the Light nowadays, before they met the Naaru, their big thing was Arcane magic. Their immense skill in Arcane magic is what drew Sargeras' attention to Argus and the eredar in the first place. Draenei mages are highly underrated.
One of the classes I want to RP when I start playing is a Warlock/Necromancer spec.

(And for the record, I fully agree with how necromancers are cool. My inclination however is directed to death knights.)
Scirvire The Astral Walker i do agree to a point as from a visual standpoint the warrior who uses magic in combat is cooler but for a concept of rping one the nercomancer is just more intresting cause its less limited you can have a reason for your choices you have been forced is kinda of the thing that turns me down on playing a dk over a nercomancer and i like casters soooo...

I made a human on Wyrmrest as a villain character, his roleplay was that he was a mage who joined the Cult of the Damned shortly before the fall of Andorhol. He survived the fall of the Lich King and slowly increased his power over time in secret, even enchanting his gear to hide his necromantic aura to infiltrate Alliance cities. He was discovered and after an event, he died while trying to become a Lich. But, I brought him back in a later event as a soul kept from damnation due to his partial success on Lichdom. He possessed a new body and completed his ritual, becoming a Lich. Just waiting to do the final events to finally kill him for good! (The bit on existing as a partially bound soul was something I borrowed from D&D, I know there is no lore on botched Lichdom rituals)
I played Calorick as a Frost Mage, though I was tempted by a Affliction Warlock. I didn't consider Unholy Deathknight as a good option for me though, simply because I wanted to feel like a caster while playing him. He was charismatic and intelligent, and enjoyed the thrill of sneaking among the "lesser" mortals. He did take a apprentice... Who betrayed him, but his other servant, a Deathknight loyal only to him is still on his side!
On a side note, Kel'thuzad is not permanently dead, his phylactery was not destroyed in Wrath. And, if you check out the Coldbringer in the quillboar dungeon, it's highly possible that his phylactery cannot be destroyed. But, a Lich guide would be cool! I'd watch it for sure.
If anyone's familiar, I themed Calorick largely off of Dr Xander(Zander?) Crow from the Wormwood podcast, but he has heavy Kel'thuzad vibes as well.

What races are feasible for RPing a neceomancer?
A little thing to add to that. Not all Necromancers were part of the cult of the damned as there were also orcs that took part in necromancy, like the Stormreaver Clan and the Shadow Council who brought forth the first Death Knights, but I hear some people say the Stormreavers are all dead, no, they aren't we see one in the Outland and one who was even on the Broken Shores, you could have survived, you will just need to come up with a good reason on HOW you survived, since you will have had either the Legion on your ass if you were part of the clan who followed Gul'dan into the tomb of Sargeras or you had the Blacktooth Grin Clan on your ass because the rest of the Stormreavers abandoned the Horde to follow Gul'dan in search for more power.
Would it be possible to make a worgen Druid guide as there different to the other three, more that they follow they light as gilneas but the Druid are harvest witches and that most are pagan

I just roleplay it as my character hiding his true form with illusionary magic.
TheGiftOfClifford id say play an undead priest. you get the floaty lich effect from levitate and the undead look from being a forsaken
Scarecrow From Mars Depends on what you mean with "Lich". A Lich is a powerfull Undead Sorcerer so in that sense you could just RP as an powerfull Undead Mage, but that would make you probably too god-like. But I know that you mean the giant, floating, skeleton pharaos and that probably possible with an Undead priest, potion of growth, levitate and the right clothes.
Have a party of two, have one of you switch to a rogue, pickpocket Morden Fel in Duskwood, get his appearance, switch appearance with a friend with the Prism toy, log out to original character of RP, then switch appearance again with friend to obtain lich form.
well kel'thuzad is kinda dead but rich's always get reborn so he is not dead

necromancer is just a spell casting Death Knight should just call it a death caster that being said I hope they make this class happens
