She demonstrates a lack of education and needs to get beyond beating that dead horse of "homocidal jealousy" identified by Evolutionary Psychology and perfected with "Figures," the best song since "I will Survive!" Love didn't cone to kill us, but to ensure 18 years together per birth to educate offspring in the "social learning" all mammals go through. Such a great song, I love the transitions (if that's what it's called) it's like 3 different songs into one all for different moods & stages of the relationship.
Beginning part ( 0:00-1:19 )
The first one is the anger when the relationship initially ends, & it's very raw with hurt, anger, regret. Also sounds like he cheated, or preferred other women, stuff like that. The resentment towards your partner for leaving you or for making you leave them with their behavior.
Middle (1:19-2:08)
Then the middle is frustrated, annoyance, hurt & reflecting at how your partner treated you & how you let them do it. The behaviour you put up with just because you "loved them too much".
End part (2:08-4:25)
This is much after the relationship has ended. The pain is less but not completely gone, you've had time to reflect & look back. Now that you've processed all the feelings of hurt and pain you have room to be appreciative of all the good times & what the relationship has taught you. But you still miss the person, perhaps you still want to get back with them.
This song is a masterpiece, I love it.
