I swear I have the worst luck when it comes to MGs. What I am the MG on this map I shoot maybe half a belt and get domed but if im on the other side of things I post up and cannot see the MG for the life of me. I even post up with the MG in a gap of the sandbags near a bunker and get domed 20 seconds later. Watching this and seeing you out just on a rock and untouched is amazing
@@Kevin61733 my suggestion is to not prop the MG on to any object except where you can move all the way in a direction and be in cover(window or on a fence next to hard cover). Make sure to always use cover to reload. Ideally, Lay next to cover and shoot for a 90 degree firing arc. This cuts down on return fire.
Yeah battlefield 5 did this yet the barrel would overheat after only 20 rounds and not to mention the accuracy was just dumb. Even with the bipod deployed the thing bounces around worse than someone with Parkinsons disease. The mg42 in hell let loose I think is way better for sure. I agree they could add a barrel change function but like the other guy said after with full sustained fire it would take a while before it would need changed. Maybe after every 2 drums?
WW2 was a war of maneuver, so soldiers really did have to trek kilometers to get to their objective. As a matter of fact, the backbone of Wehrmacht's Blitzkrieg tactics was the Horse. It makes sense that the map would sprawl. I also understand you coming from more of a gameplay perspective though.
@jam2723 I had a really thought-out reply, but I'm too mentally exhausted, and I don't care enough to argue with you. I don't know why you're surprised about a WW2 battlefield being too big in a WW2 fps game, but whatever, bro.
@ buddy, i'm totally fine with the style of game, but we need different net code that can support player counts of at least several hundreds. until then, Squad, HLL, all these mil-sim games, for the average consumer, are just War-themed walking simulators. I'm tired of storming Omaha Beach and me and the driver are the only people in the landing craft. Do you understand me? I want to play a videogame and have the same types of experiences you're looking for, but I don't want to spend all my time just walking to the front, getting stuck without a squad, etc.. Games like Red Orchestra/Rising Storm, or Day of Infamy/Insurgency have the scale correct. I've been gaming since 1999 my guy, I've played just about everything. I'm telling you, Squad, HLL, all these mil sims haven't made it work yet. Won't feel right until there are at least 256 ppl in a server. No joke. This has nothing to do with realism. Red Orchestra is realistic. Rising Storm is realistic. They're not boring though.
Not enough smokes and snipers just AFK their job in the first part really is to either flank or better yet just take out the MGs. I only got to snipe once in this game and it was this offensive. MGs really are the only things holding everyone back and the way I won is I took out 2 MGs on 1 side of the beach and we just overloaded it with smokes and got in land and just flanked around. Also pretty much the story for the next points and that last point you really just need to pick off MGs as they set up
What the hell are you shooting at? Yes.

lucky to not be sniped while up on the ridge. visible from the entire beach
They really need an overheat feature for the MGs so its accurate burst fire
I second this
Not accurate a barrel change after approx 1200 rounds

@@brendansteed2486yeah based on tracer demo videos of the real thing it can fire continually for quite a bit
Hold it down….its a mashine-gun 😊
for a console player your aim is immaculate
honestly, the scale of the maps exceeds the number of players in all these games. Games like Day of Infamy had it right.

@whatyousee-f7j 34,000 men landed on Omaha Beach against 12,000 German defenders. Is that what you see here?

@@koresz_ca4549 I use an editing software after the game. I'm on console
NEMESIS.....DADDY(3) xd
Play that map with that game mode is so broken
Very unfair to the Americans
I have seen this map won so many times as the Americans. I didn’t see any armor in the video and that’s why it looked so lopsided.
It's realistic this is what these men had to go through only we get to die and respawn.

not even close to unfair, you push smoke, you flank, and once you are through. its won, 80-90% games as attackers are won.
no comunication whatsoever? no coordination whatsoever? not looking on the map ever? what a terrible match
actually prefer those matches.
most guys are terrible at this game, yapping all the time, while not even playing op's down.
😴
Ohne rumgebrülle, geschreie und so weiter kommt da irgendwie kein herzkasper auf. Langweilig, stumpf!
