Hi guys! YES, I know this song was written originally by Eric Carmen in 1975, but this is my arrangement of Celine Dion's ultra-famous version made 20 years later in 1995. I think Celine's voice and her interpretation give justice to the song and I tried to put all of that in my version! Hope you like it!

The writer of the original piece, Eric Carmen, was inspired heavily by a Rachmaninoff! He thought the work was public domain but he was wrong and now Rachmaninoff is credited along with him.

Have you noticed that Francesco himself isn't using sheet music? Yes, the arrangement is stunning, and that helps... but it's the PLAYING that lifts it off the paper and makes it sing. I think it was Einstein who said that "education is what remains after you've forgotten everything you learned in school." I'll paraphrase that by saying that a Parrino performance is everything he, and he alone, adds to what's on the sheet music." Sure... learn the notes, and then forget the sheet music. You must reach inside for HOW to play it... the sheet music won't tell you that.

Celine Dion is a wonderful talent but all by myself was originally written by Eric Carmen in the key of f but that is not the key she sings it in. All by myself could be a song that it's not comfortable for her to sing in the original key. But I have always loved her and the movie Titanic speaks for itself ! 🎹😀
